Not our first time at One Bistro -- it's become our go-to place. The food is consistently good, and this time we particularly enjoyed the steak tips on the Prix Fixe menu. The accompanying salads are excellent, as are their desserts, and their seafood chowder is a perfect choice -- ideal with their home-baked breads. Although the room is bustling at dinnertime, we were still able to carry on conversations without a problem. The fun thing is, every time we go there, we run into someone else we know, so it's always a warm friendly vibe. Whenever we go there, we always ask friends to join us, and nobody ever hesitates -- it's such a popular place. Since we went on a mid-week evening, we had no problems getting reservations. I'm not sure that would always be the case on a weekend.

Service is very slow. Took long time to take order and by the turn me they brought milk coffee was not hot enough. Sweet bread were not fresh.

We have never had an unpleasant dining experience at One Bistro and we go there quite often. The menu always includes enough variety to satisfy almost every appetite and the staff treats you like family. Consistency is the hallmark of a good restaurant and One Bistro fits the description perfectly.

We went for the early bird special which was outstanding! I got the sweet soy salmon dinner and my wife got the steak tips. Both were excellent! They also came with salads and dessert. The server was great, the booth we sat in was very comfortable. Our only complaint was the music playing above was way too loud and rocky. I am a professional musician and very tuned in to music. This classy restaurant should play classy music like smooth jazz or yacht rock, not the loud music they were playing which ruined the ambiance. Also, the AC was freezing cold, not just cool, I'm talking really cold. Other than that, the meal was excellent and we'll be back!

I have eaten at One Bistro for both lunch and dinner and I have never had a bad meal or service. The menu has something for everyone and the Servers are very accommodating.

We normally love One Bistro. It is our go to restaurant. Unfortunately, this time I was extremely disappointed with the summer scallop plate. Scallops were small (only 5) The potato serving was only 3 small slices served with 5 slices of zucchini. It was more suitable to be served as an appetizer. The other three meals were excellent.

I enjoy the calming atmosphere and that there's almost always room to sit at the bar which is what I prefer. Our server, Madeline was exceptional. I am not a fan of the manager however. He has an attitude where he is not always that concerned about the customer. (another incident w/ him last year.) The food and drinks are decent. I like that it's a little upscale but not too expensive. I will continue to go there.
