We hadn't been there for several years. We don't live in town. Some small changes in the interior but it has the same atmosphere, which is nice. Plenty of space, old structure. We sat in the back room in a large booth. Quiet and private. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We got scallop and steak specials and both were better than average. (very good). Decent selection of draft beers. Service was a little slow because our server was very busy, hence the 4 star rating vs the 5 star rating. Price was reasonable, typical.

Strange location. Known for great Prime Rib. Ive been there a few times and was seated next to a high foot traffic area even tho many better seats were available. Once in the winter it was very cold inside. If not in bar area, it is very dark. Entire menu is overpriced.

Where to start. How about the website. Why can’t restaurants update their posted menu prices, or is it too much to keep up with the constant inflated increases. Prices on the menu were about 20% higher than what is on their website, When we entered the brightly lit bar and restaurant which was nearly empty they asked if we were there for trivia night, which we were not, so they ushered us into a dark back room with sticky table tops. Despite the absorbent prices we really had our heart set for the smoked brisket. We were at the restaurant at 5, an hour after it opened and placed our order for brisket. We were told it would not be ready until 7, really disappointed by this and could not understand why this product could not be available when they opened. We got the ribs and pulled pork which were just ok, the side of fries were soggy and barely cooked. If it were not for the attentive and personable server this would have been ranked as terrible. Do not recommend.

This is the worst meal we ever had and way overpriced. I got the Jack Daniels rib eye supposed to be 16oz after I cut the fat off I don't think it was 5oz, I asked for it med well it was cooked to hockey puck status. My husband got the sirloin and the same thing way over cooked and very salty. We will never return to this place almost $90 for this crappy meal. The place looks like it hasn't been updated for 30 years.
