We had a lovely birthday dinner at the Beacon Room tonight. The staff was great, the food was fantastic! Highly recommend their risotto, tonight’s special, and the elk was perfectly prepared and delicious. And try the flourless chocolate cake, so good.
Restaurant fails to follow enforced state laws around animals in restaurant as they do not have a permit. The law is very clear a permit is required. This restaurant claimed they couldn’t ask the people with a dog if they had paperwork for their miniature Yorker because it would make too much of a fuss. Last time I checked miniature Yorkies are not service dogs. When asking the manager about the permit they said they didn’t want to make a fuss with the dog owner. But guess...read full review
Excellent food and a great server. I had the sole and it was amazing. Our server, Russell, was very friendly and attentive.
Next time we are in town, we will definitely be back!
