We brought our kids for trunk or treating and they had a wonderful time. We went in for dinner and got salmon with fresh veggies and the biggest fresh fish and chips I have ever seen. All very delicious the wait staff was wonderful over all a great experience. We will be back

Fun atmosphere by a ski slope, mountain stream, and quaint old building. Took a family with 5 adults and four kids ages 5 to 9. Called ahead and got seated immediately at two tables side by side. Basic menu for kids and adults with good variety. Everything went downhill from there. Ordered drinks and appetizers. Drinks came normal time, and we watched as locals came in and chatted with one another. 3 couples came in and were seated approximately 20 minutes after us. Finally, one hour after being seated and watching the 3 couples get served, walked to the kitchen area, asked to cancel appetizers that never showed and at least get kids' meals, as they were getting impatient and tired. Got apologies from the wait and kitchen staff for the delay and food, including the appetizers, served over the next 10 minutes. Appetizers were taken off the bill. Also ordered a second bar drink halfway through the meal, which showed up after the check. Steaks were good, cooked to order, and have a very nice flavor, but slightly above room temperature. Looks like the locals can enjoy this place, but groups of tourists may want to look elsewhere.

We went for dinner last night, there were only two tables occupied when we were seated. Ordered our drinks then waited at least 10 minutes before the waitress brought out one. She said she’d be right back with the other. Then she cleared a table of dishes, took dessert orders and disappeared. Five minutes later our missing drink was delivered. Then we ordered dinner, stuffed clam appetizer, and barbecued ribs, that nights specials. When our dinners were delivered, I asked what happened to our appetizer? Oh, I’m sorry, it will be right out. After we ate at least half our meal, the appetizer came. The dinner was good but the baked potatoes when Luke warm, with no toppings? We asked for butter and sour cream. We each got a stone cold foil wrapped cube of butter to split between the potato halves. The potato was not warm enough to melt the butter. The veggies were good, as were the ribs. The service was terrible. I can’t imagine how it would if this place was busy?

Grouse House is a cute spot nestled in Otis Mountain. Locals were super friendly, especially Collin. Nice beer selection. Menu had a good variety. Abbie did a great job behind the bar. Food was good and came out quick. I will definitely stop back if I'm in the area. Thank you for a nice experience

Nice place, a bit pricey on the drinks. A Tanguray and Tonic is $12.00 !!! Three of us had dinner and 2 rounds of of drinks each, a pot sticker app that we shared and the bill was $180.00 with the tip.... the entrees were $20 to $22 each which is the new norm. Oh well, just my input.

New Management, menu limited for now, appealing to ski family crowd. Friendly Neighborhood Place. Steep steps to Dine but great windows of skier's.
