This place deserves more than 5 stars. The food is always amazing and with massive portions, you'll almost always go home with leftovers. The staff are so kind and I never felt like I was being ignored.
I haven’t been here in several years, but I stopped in last week with my 87-year-old mom who recently had extensive oral surgery. I was trying to figure out which menu items would be easy for her to enjoy. Our server was so kind and compassionate and helpful. Once we made a decision, she went right into the kitchen and discussed the situation with the cook so he was aware how soft the food needed to be for my mom. While driving around looking for a lunch spot and not familiar with the area we came across the Whistle Stop Bar & Cafe and immediately greeted. The menu was not overwhelming and we started with a delicious chicken quesadilla. The highlight for us was the signature Whistle Stop Burger that was cooked to perfection, bacon crispy, and the addition of the Thousand Island Dressing was tasty.
