Great people
While the food is good I'm rather peeved that the wait staff thinks it is ok to take change from a check that I'm paying and simply give the customer back the bills. This is not only rude but it is illegal in MA. If a customer is due $23.40, as an example, the waitress should be giving the $23.40 back. NOT $23. I will decide if I'm going to leave the change. If this is a customary practice they are in effect, stealing from the customer. I realize people will disagree with this review, but it is not professional and as I stated, it is illegal. I could see if it was a penny here and there. But my check was due 65¢ for change. This is not acceptable. I have been a waitress and understand the practice of not using pennies, but the customer always got the change.
New owners and hopefully turning a corner! Our favorite waitress Karen is back too! I ate there twice this weekend. Food and service we're excellent. Still a little pricey but most decent places are.
Wonderful food, wonderful service!
Really neat place to grab a bit to eat just off the Palmer Exit of the Massachusetts turnpike. Easy to get to, easy to park and delicious food with great service!
Nice vintage diner atmosphere with great coffee. They have a recipe for hash that can't be beat!
I m a travel nurse who worked in Massachusetts on the front lines during and post pandemic. I was renting from the owners of The Steaming Tender who owns a place right next to the diner. Well one morning I was taking out the trash and I got mixed up with what trash cans were for my unit and accidentally used theirs. A lady with a Karen style short haircut came out the diner and yelled “Those are my trash cans and we pay for them and stop putting your stuff in it.” I apologized and said I thought these were the cans to use. She pointed to our can and I went there. But she just wouldn’t let it go. She kept going on and on and became belligerent about how she would let the owners know. I apologized at least 10 times and she was just so ridiculous. The diner smells good but because of that interaction me or none of my nursing friends ate at that restaurant and the coworkers who used to eat there from Baystate promised to never ever go back again because of how I was treated. I’m here working the front lines and I apologized. I’m 1000 miles from home and that really hurt my feelings and bothered me.
My husband and I had breakfast at Angel's. It was one of the all time best breakfast. Don't overlook this treasure in downtown Palmer, MA.

We've been eating breakfast here about one a week since they opened and we've not had a bad experience yet. The service is always great, and the food is awesome at a great price.

Food was good, but the wait staff was running around stressed and flustered the entire time even when it was slow. Spent an hour trying to get out breakfast. I will try again soon and hope it was a fluke.

Best breakfast spot in the area! I've been to Angel's a few times with my family, and every time has exceeded expectations. The food is always fresh, well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and made with high-quality ingredients. Plus, the service is always top-notch. 5/5 stars!
Vegetarian options: Even though Angel's isn't a vegetarian restaurant, many of their dishes can be prepared without meat!
