I have not been to a Freindly's in like 3 or 4 years. I have been at this Friendly's once before. The restaurant condition inside was maintained quite well; like in new condition. The on duty manager & employees were working very hard. The restaurant was very busy; yet because if the great efforts of the staff, the service was excellent. My 3 selection meal course & dessert for an extra $1 99 was most enjoyable. Thank You, job well done!

It is truly amazing how far this once iconic New England restaurant has fallen. Even the ice cream can’t save what will eventually become of this business. I predict by this time next year they fold up. This is hard for me to write as it was once my favorite place to take the kids out to eat. We have had some great times there over the years. Tonight was rough. We went in for ice cream at 8 pm and got our order at 9. There were 4 other people in the entire restaurant so not even remotely busy. Our server (Allssa?) was apologetic and she is being wasted in a place that doesn’t pride itself on service. It hasn’t in a long time. Floors were dirty and not one person said good night or acknowledged us when leaving. Our ice cream was fine taste wise but one sundae was missing about a 1/4th of the ice cream while another of the same kind was to the top. The to go frenzy was nearly 1/2 empty. I’d complain but it took so long to make them I didn’t dare. I can say with 100% certainty that after hundreds of meals there this is the last money spent there for our family. Sad.

Went to 1811 Boston Rd Friendly's in Wilbraham, Ma yesterday with my husband. The waitress Melanie greeted us right away and showed us to our seat. She took our order and our food came in a timely manner. Never did we have to wait for anything, our waitress was very friendly and very prompt. She came back to the table a few times to see if we needed anything. Great customer service. We'll be back and make sure Melanie is our server.

Food was ok, but the service was terrible. We ordered ice cream after dinner and it took more than 20 minutes to get it. There were only a handful of tables seated.Definitely avoid it if you don't have a lot extra time.

This was such a bad experience....we spent literally 2 hours for three people with at most 5 tables in use. Nothing but waiting and zero urgency in our waitress (Carlie H). Props to the other employees that did actually come to our table though. To also top it off, we got a sundae that was mint chocolate chip ice cream and was told the ice cream was at the bottom with no chips so they provided a side of them. No biggie. But as I ate, 1/3 of it was literally vanilla ice cream. That's pretty lazy on their part. Ive been in the food industry for 5 years so Im pretty understandable but this was something else. We won't be back at this location, service was so bad that it was comical.?♀️

Food used to be good a few years ago now its just gross. Portions get smaller and smaller and everything tastes like it was frozen and microwaved. Always flavorless and squishy. But even worse than the food is the service. I don't know if they're understaffed or what but expect to wait forever at the front desk before you're even acknowledged. If you're ordering take out don't be shocked when you show up on time and still have to wait for your food. Last time I ordered take out I had to stand there for 15 minutes while they finished making my food just to find out nobody had ever made the ice cream. Never any attempt to make it up to you either, they would rather act like you're inconveniencing them by expecting them to do their job. I now see why all the Friendlys in the area have been closing over the past few years.

Service was terrible. We were seated for 20 minutes with 3 kids before anyone even came to take our drink order. Food took over 40 mins to come out and we didn’t see our waitress any times in between. I couldn’t tell if there was a manager on, place seems to be run by kids. The restroom was disgusting and there was no soap to even wash our hands. I wouldn’t normally go out of my way to write a poor review but the staff did not seem to care at all.

Myself and my daughter did an online order and the food definitely has gone downhill since the last time I was here. My sandwich was soggy and the bacon wasn't cooked all the way I ordered onion rings and they gave me 5 yes 5! My daughter didn't even eat her chicken sandwich, honestly the best part of her meal was the ice cream, no wonder all the stores are closed, so sad ?

Came here today and the fried pickles had so much grease on them they were so soggy and gross, my man ordered a vanilla seltzer and it was just straight vanilla syrup the waitress knocked over water on the table behind us and got water on me and my man never apologized nothing. Def won't be going back it's just going down hill and honestly not worth the price with the serving size you get. Place is trashed tables weren't clean floors were a mess. Like ??

I visited this location last evening (12/18/22 around 5:30pm) with my boyfriend. We were seated almost as soon as we walked in the door. We were one of four tables. Their had been 4 waitresses that we could see. After 30minutes of waiting and not a single one of them coming over we left. We could see each of them in the back sitting on counters, wandering around but not one came over to even take a drink order. We were very disappointed. Neither of us had been to a Friendly's in many years and had been looking forward to our visit. Sadly we didn't want to wait any longer as it was getting late and another restaurant was happy to serve us.
Decided to stop while visiting family from out of state. It's been about 20 years since I've been back to Palmer and friendlys definitely did not disappoint. Our waitress was fantastic and the food and ice cream were delicious.

Living in Tennessee, I miss Friendly 's restaurants. Satisfied with the clam strips. Server was exceptional, as was manager (?). No complaints. It's certainly not a fancy restaurant, but good enough for me and my family.

Horrible experience went there for a family dinner and we had the worst service ever to start off our waitress toy forgot a child whole meal then ordered the fish sandwich and it tasted as if it was sitting out all day and got super sick from it the our ice cream was a total disaster order a medium plant butter and chocolate Sunday it came in a little silver dish it was all together a Horrible experience never again will I goto this friendlys I really hope nobody ever has to experience this kind of service anywhere

Zachary was awesome, reminded me of Nirvana, and wondered if he was a fan, as were the other fellows that worked there! And I saw a lady running the kitchen which was great!
