Dirty, the kitchen is dirty, tables dirty, was there over an hour waiting for breakfast Was served burnt food. Service was awful.

My sister and I went there for breakfast Saturday as an early mother's day, and her first order of pancakes with bacon came out regular yellow looking but they put powdered sugar all over them when she asked for no powdered sugar, and the bacon wasn't sent out with the first plate, so they were sent back. The second set of pancakes came back undercooked and tasted like flour. The bacon tasted rancid, and a few of the creamers were spoiled. I had the regular eggs Benedict, and the hollandaise sauce tasted like vinegar. She didn't want to say anything and cause a scene, so she didn't eat it but she did pay $34.00 for the bill and the food was horrible. The service was great though.

I have been to girlies a few times and previously liked my food and the service, brought friends here etc. But I have to say my experience today turned me off of girlies. Fiancee and friend got their food after about a 45 minute wait (burger and an omelet), I got mine after another 20 minutes when they were done with their food. When I bit into the burger I ordered (ordered medium), it was pretty much raw, and mushy. I pulled it apart to see if it was just that bite, but saw the entire burger was mushy and almost raw, which is a huge health hazard for ground beef. I politely explained to the waitress, I am 7 months pregnant and can not eat rare meat. And the rest of my party was already finished with their food, so I just requested it to be taken off the bill. She came back with a bill of almost $10 for my fries (which I did not even get a chance to eat, as as I let them know as soon as the burger and fries came out that it was rare, and they took it away) a water, and coffee. I liked girlies before but since I grew up watching my dad run his small restaurant, I thought this was sort of a scummy way to treat a customer you made wait over an hour, and then served raw food to. Never sent food back at a restaurant in my life before this! Fiancee also paid $30 for a cheeseburger, a couple pieces of kielbasa, and couple slices of bacon..

Great service. Interesting back story. Not a fan of the French toast (Unsure what kind of bread it's made with). Eggs are the only place that actually cooked them a real over-medium and bacon was very good. Try the "Magic Muffin"

Great tiny little local spot! The young woman who helped us was alone until the cook came in and did an awesome job taking care of everyone, filling coffee and even cooking. Enjoyed the pancake and thought the sausage gravy was out of this world. Got a steak and potatoe omelet and it was perfect. Highly recommend!

Delicious food with a friendly small diner feel. They have something for everyone, the home fries were my favorite. I enjoyed chatting with everyone while there. I'll be back with my family for sure!

Walked in on a really hot morning after an hour and a half motorcycle ride and was greeted by a wonderful women who started joking with me which was very fun. They are a very small place with good food and a great staff.

I haven't been in here since covid pre covid this was my favorite place to go I would bring my friends from out of town now today was my first time going there since covid started and I must say I am not impressed and will not be going back they changed their breads your portions sucks the food lost it's greatness in this place sad the Portuguese French toast tlwas a staple there and to change it and not enhance it and make it not the best is sad
