Had Bald Hill Pond VT reunion with friends (no wait time as had reservations due to it being holiday season). Started off with a yummy Manhattan and craft beer at the bar. This was our first time having the pleasure of dining here. What a historic & eclectic hidden gem. Our bartender, Lane - a lovely, honest, perfect personality to welcome us was such an unexpected surprise to a new place. Friday - October 17, 2025 - Stopped for dinner at five thirty in the evening on the way home from a day trip. We were promptly greeted and promptly seated in the main dining hall. The dining hall was a bit noisy but that was because it was full of patrons. Our waiter arrived promptly. He was dressed in railroad theme clothing which was very appropriate since the building is a restored train station. The station is adjacent to active railroad tracks. The first train to rumble...
