Pizza/food used to be good. Today after not going there for awhile I ordered a large everything pizza. So much smaller but not the price and service fee added, the crust and box was literally oil soaked. I put a stack of paper towels under pizza and towels soaked it right up. So disappointed. What would have been really good pizza was so bad. Sadly today will be my last time there

Non local: heard about the excellence of the North Shore Beef. So glad I stopped here! Ordered the Regular Beef 3 Way and it was superb. There was a mountain of tender, melt-in-your-mouth, cooked rare-medium-rare beef with tangy mayo, creamy cheese, and the zingy BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce has a nice body to it and a pronounced Worcestershire-like umami flavor which really complements the sandwich. The seeded regular bun has a nice toasted crunch to contrast the tender meat.
My only desire would be a more beefy flavor, but not at the expense of the excellent tenderness.
Immediately compared this to Jamie's: Atha's is the clear victor in terms of overall sandwich balance, doneness, value, and friendly staff.

Roast beef was raw (not rare) and drenched in bbq sauce, fries were ice cold. Mozz sticks weren’t bad but whatever that “marinara” sauce was awful. Whoever packed the takeout bag smushed everything together like garbage. Prices were way too high for the quality.

I have ordered by phone for pick up from Atha's Roast Beef & Pizza at 10 Sylvan Street in Peabody many times. I understand mix ups, mistakes, misunderstandings can happen in retail & in the food industry. No one and no company is perfect. But you would hope if mistakes were made that there would be some form of customer service in these moments. I have ordered in the past and have had my order wrong on their part a few times. I never come in hot or angry. I am civil and respectful. I explain the situation & ask for things to be redone, which they do. I do not live in Peabody. So, driving back to pick up my order, when they do deliver, is something that I do each time. Extra time and gas. I am never offered an apology, anything for the mistake and the inconvenience of driving back or an offer to have it delivered. Last night, I ordered food for my household totaling $60+, which is the average that we spend for each time we order from them. The traffic was awful going there and coming back last night. I was so happy to come home and enjoy my supper. Unfortunately, my super roast beef was wrong and my daughter was missing one of her salad dressings, which we pay extra for. My son's large onion, steak & cheese and our large fry, extra crispy, was soggy. I called them to rectify the super roast beef & missing salad dressing. I was told that I needed to drive back to pick them up. Frustrated and hungry, I decided to drive back. I called back a second time after I left to have them remake my son's onion steak and cheese and the large fries, extra crispy. I was never given an apology for the mistake. I was never offered some money off for the remade sub and fries. Nothing for the whole inconvenience. This doesn't end here. We finally get home to eat our meal. My daughter had ordered a Caesar salad with parmesan and feta cheese extra pita and extra dressing. She informs me that her steak tip from her steak tip (well done) was red and was hard to cut due to the undercooking. She was able to eat the rest of her salad besides the steak tip. Mind you we pay extra for the feta cheese, the extra pita and the extra dressing. We didn't call Atha's regarding the steak tip. Please note, my youngest daughter rarely ever complains about her food. She is fine if her steak or steak tip is pink or slightly red. But for her to complain says a lot. Let me add, the remade fries tasted very off. I couldn't eat them. So, I paid $64.70 for the first order & $ $21.38 for the remade order and wasted the gas (and time) to drive back the second time. We didn't get an apology. We didn't get an offer for something out of courtesy for their mistake. I have made decisions in the past to reorder from Atha's after mistakes made by them. I never call in angry as I don't want anything possibly done to my food if an employee is aggravated of my complaint. But this is how we were treated last night?! I feel this was too much for me. I have finally made the decision that going there isn't worth it. Their lack of customer service is what did me in. So, peace Atha's Roast Beef Pizza at 10 Sylvan Street in Peabody. You lost 3 customers. But here's some advice...DO BETTER WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
