I was looking forward to trying traditional Greek pastries here, and when I arrived there was one spanikopita (Spinach Pie) left, and was happy to get it. It didn't disappoint, stuffed with spinach, feta and dill, just the way I make it at home. However, the Honey Baklava (costs more than the regular one made with sugar) but it was too dark and had no butter flavor. I make them from my grandmother's recipe with lots of butter, and it's far better. She used a combination of sugar and honey, lemon rind and a clove in each piece. OOPS I gave away her recipe. I'll still be making mine at home.

Amazing and delicious cake! I needed to order a cake last minute and they luckily had one ready for me to pickup for my husband and son's birthday. It's my first time purchasing a cake from a bakery for their birthday and it was absolutely delicious! We shared the cake with our church and several people kept mentioning how delicious the cake was and that it must have come from a bakery and not a grocery store. I'm thankful to have come across this bakery and the friendliness they are to their customers! I wish I had found them sooner and hope I can purchase from them again before moving out of town.

My and I were sad when Les Madeleines closed. We had been going there over 15 years. My husband was reading City Weekly there was an article on Eva's Bakery. They had Koenig Amann's. Of course we were excited. So on December 17th my husband placed an order on line PAID for four Kowign Amann's. He received a text stating his order was read for pickup. On his way out he received a call from Eva's the gal told him she gave his order away. My understanding is when you pay for something it's yours. My husband was not happy. I was at our daughters babysitting he was going to surprise me with them. I called them on Monday to complain. I asked to speak to a manager or owner. The gal said she could help me. I asked her name (McKay) said she was the lead. I told her what happened she just couldn't believe it. McKay said she would give us 4 free Koenig Amann's for our bad experience. I told her my husband would be in Tuesday around 1. My husband gets to Eva's McKay says I'm sorry there's only 3. I was pressured into selling one. REALLY!!' Eva's is certainly no Les Medeleines , they always had our order waiting for us. Eva's customer service and kouign Amann's are no comparison to Les Madeleines.

Every year my family and I look forward to the bread for new years and not only does it taste different but also looks like it was just thrown together. And as you see there’s a huge hole in the middle of it! It’s awful!

Just to emphasize how great this place is, today I drove over an hour because I was craving Eva's ham and cheese pie. Always friendly, always helpful, always.. I am picky with my coffee, especially my Greek coffee...they make amazing coffee every single time, that's not chance, that's skill and care for the customer. I wish for a chain closer to me, but then again maybe not, I would not be able to resist a daily run.

Nice and clean! Their small pastries are great! My friends love their mix of baklava and cheesecake! I love it, too. By the way, their orange cookie is a nice combo with tea or coffee.

We were in Peabody MA for weekend wedding and looking for breakfast near our hotel. A Yelp search found Eva's Pastries and so we tried it. It was great! Eva's serves a variety of Greek pastries (spanakopita, bougasta, tyropita and more). Order at the counter and get a Greek-style coffee. They have seating, though nothing fancy, which is fine with me. They have lots more dessert-style pastries as well. Eva's is also a Greek deli/grocery. We came back the next morning as well (6 of us) and after enjoying our breakfast pastries, I bought ~$50 worth of groceries, mostly things we don't often see elsewhere. The staff was friendly. patient and helpful and seemed to truly appreciate our business.

Utterly fantastic and completely true to Greek culture. Their prices are great and Danny is a wonderful baker and artisan. I have nothing negative I can say about this place. They are great!!!

Absolutely great pastries! The chocolate mousse is definitely the best I've ever had. They also have various snacks from Greece. The employees are extremely friendly, if you're in the area you should definitely stop by!
