We worked with J Cakes for our wedding cake, and Hope is an incredible baker and was amazing to work with! The tasting & design process was easy and enjoyable, we had lots of flexibility when it came to the flavors & design, and she created a wedding cake that was better than we had imagined! We additionally purchased a number of other small desserts from J Cakes which were delicious and a huge hit at the reception.

From the very beginning, the owner was incredibly organized and communicative, which made everything so easy, from choosing the cake to coordinating delivery. We ended up changing our wedding date and location pretty last minute and they were so flexible and accommodating. The cake turned out even better than I had envisioned! It truly fit the vibe so well! We chose three different flavors and every single one was SO good. The chocolate Samoa is to die for! Their pricing is also extremely reasonable, which was a huge bonus. I had gotten quotes from other bakeries that were outrageous, and honestly JCakes tasted better than all of them. Overall, I highly recommend JCakes, they have great tasting cakes, amazing service, and such an easy experience from start to finish. By far the easiest vendor we worked with!

We got my son’s second birthday party cake and cupcakes this past weekend from J Cakes and I was beyond happy with everything. It brought me SO much peace of mind knowing they are a peanut free bakery because my son has an allergy. The cake/cupcakes were absolutely delicious. The cake in both were light and fluffy. The Oreo filling was delicious. They were decorated beautifully and exactly what I had pictured for his party. I will absolutely be ordering all my cakes through here going forward. So just going to note they absolutely nailed our wedding cake design. We opted for a more eccentric salem wedding and hosted a masquerade for our reception, and wanted a fitting cake to go with it. The flavors we chose were absolutely delicious (all the samples were delicious to note, there wasn't one we disliked, only ones we liked most!). The design was so intricate and perfect. Highly highly recommend for your special day - you wont be disappointed. Thank you so much for making our day amazing! LGBTQ+ friendly for sure!

J Cakes made an incredible three tier wedding cake and an additional sheet cake for my wedding. Our guests said that it was the best cake they have ever had at a wedding. I have to agree. It was flavorful, the buttercream was perfectly balanced, the strawberries were fresh and flavorful, and most importantly, the cake was not dry. For our wedding, we got vanilla cake with strawberry mousse, lemon cake with strawberry mousse, and chocolate cake with raspberry mousse. My only regret is that I didn't get to try the chocolate cake during the reception. We loved our cakes and I am so happy that we ordered from J Cakes. They communicated well, understood our design, and Beth was very responsive to any questions I had. I highly recommend J Cakes.

My Daughter brought a sonic Cake omgoodness beautifuly made and holy crap the inside was the bomb what to talk anbout the inside the moisture and fluffy and all that this cake was so Delicious. Thanks it was an amazing cake . Not dried like other cakes this is the best cake I’ve ever tasted layers after layers .
