Not Your Average Joe's - Peabody

This location is closing, so we got to hear all the server's frustrations about it - multiple times during our meal. It was a bit obnoxious because he kept interrupting our conversation. The food is usually pretty good, but I ordered the French Omelet, and the filling was cold. The fresh focaccia was amazing, though, and the unlimited refills was a plus.

We were returning home from Boston and decided to stop at the Peabody Northshore Mall NYAJ's restaurant for dinner. It had been several years since our last visit since we don't live nearby. We were immediately seated and the menus and drink orders came soon after. The meals also arrived in good time and were quite good. The volcano chocolate cake was a special treat. The key reason for this review, however, is to acknowledge our waitress, Kylie, who did a splendid job of informing us what to consider and helping us understand the special for that day. She was helpful, efficient, and friendly and made the evening very enjoyable. Thanks.

We made a reservation through OpenTable and were immediately seated on a busy Friday at 6 PM. Our server, Alex B, was fast, attentive, and helpful. I had a pulled pork sandwich and my wife had A Fall pizza (butternut squash, etc.). Both were very good. We took home a meal for our son, who ordered the Harvest Bowl. He gave it high marks. We very much enjoyed our meal, as it seemed with those around us. We left after sharing a crème Brule dessert, quite happy and convinced to return. The meal wasn't cheap, but it was fairly priced. I'll mention that I was warned that the onion rings I ordered were quite skinny. That was correct, but I enjoyed the taste and they were fun to eat.

The onion soup is the best I've tried on the North Shore! Such depth of flavor! I also really enjoyed the Thai noodles chicken salad! I want the dressing in a bottle!

Food was excellent!! The server was great!! I wish I remembered her name she also had a table of 12 and a few scattered around but it never interfered with her checking on us. We will be back!!

Don't bother with this place. the waiter asked us twice to confirm our order and then still got it wrong. The bloody Mary's were had no flavor. One good thing was the starter bread with oil. 

This place blessed me better this time around more than my last time around. It’s nice to see a good menu with good fair prices for the amount of food you get. It's very fair. Service from Bartender Michelle S. Was great. I really enjoyed my experience this time around, my last time not so much. I enjoy restaurant that are always willing to improve on things. I'm always willing to give restaurants 2nd and 3rd chances. I'm glad I did. This place did good at changing my mind tonight. I'll definitely keep coming back. Keep that free bread 🍞 and oil coming. Our server Alex was attentive and informative. We enjoyed our meals, dessert and the ambiance of the restaurant.

Ordered take out- food was really poor. Burger was not really flavorful and the French frys were probably the worst I've ever had. Had left over burnt bits of frys mixed in over all I won't be coming here again

This place is top notch, bread and oil to start a meal, bolognese was one of the best I've had. Only thing I didnt have was a drink. Dylan S was my server and did a fantastic job. Very friendly staff and wonderful food.
