After almost two years I returned to this magnificent Chinese restaurant and, for the goodness of the dishes served, for the abundance of the same and for the service I can not help but confirm the more than positive judgment made then. Once again I recommend ordering steamed spaghetti with soy, shrimp and vegetables. Albertop
They will not split checks even if you tell them up front. The food was delicious.

One of my fav Chinese places! Its a big more upscale eith white tabel clothes. Plenty of space for groups and events. They give you tea with your order which is a nice touch. We got chicken lo mein, chicken fingers, crab rangoons, and general saos chicken. Was amazing, tasted super fresh, was not greasy at all. Everything came out really quickly, they bring you fortune cookies at the end. Everything was great!

So to set the stage - I went there on a Saturday night with my 3 year old daughter with NO reservation. The place was PACKED yet they were incredibly respectful as they made it clear I had a brief wait. We were kept comfortable, informed, and engaged as we were waiting. Eventually we were seated at a table AND they found space for me to put my stroller!
The service was exquisite. If I had any complaint it would be “they didn’t have service or a menu for a three year old”, but to be fair I didn’t expect they would. Otherwise it was perfect and they treated her like the big girl she thinks she is.
The food was excellent. I’ve been several times before but I cannot speak well enough about the food there. It’s some of the best New England Chinese I have had. It was my daughter’s first experience with Chinese food and she decided that the boneless spareribs, the pork lo mein, and the chicken fingers were great.
Frankly - they have always gone above and beyond for me when I go alone. This is the first time going with my daughter and they were exactly the same level of quality I would expect despite having a disruptive toddler, so they get 5 stars and then some.
Also: great Mai Tai’s.

We ordered crab rangoons, shrimp lomein, Neptune basket and Singapore rice sticks tonight as takeout. We have been going to Su Chang’s for more than 10; years. Tonight was the first time we were very disappointed in the food. The crab rangoons and Neptune basket were very fishy tasting, the shrimp and scallops did not taste very fresh. The Singapore rice sticks were fine. The lo mein was very pedestrian —mostly noodles and soy sauce. We have had the crab Rangoons and Neptune basket many, many times. In fact they were always a big favorite. In the past, the seafood dishes have always been great, nice and impeccably fresh. So disappointed.

We ordered four meals and only one was worthy of a high rating. That would be the Tangerine beef. It was bold, tender, and memorable. The rest of the entrees are not even worth mentioning..no flavor whatsoever. We probably will not try this place again in the future.

This is the first time I have ever been to this establishment and I will NEVER go back.
The food was tastless and the service was the worse. Our waiter thought is was more important to sit at a table where he could see us playing with his eye phone then to ask how everything was. Please consider eating elsewhere just not here.....

My favorite Chinese restaurant on the North shore is without a doubt, Su Chang's in Peabody, MA for an exceptional dining experience. Their Chinese cuisine remains of top-notch quality, always cooked to perfection. From the moment you step in, you'll instantly be impressed by the spotless and inviting ambiance. Chinese food perfectly prepared with generous portions at reasonable prices. The staff at Su Chang's are remarkable, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Su Chang's continues to leave a lasting impression that makes me coming back again and again!
I Highly Recommend!

We went out for my husband's 65th birthday lunch here and had the Gen. Gau chicken. It was delicious and so was the soup and rice that came with it! Service and atmosphere were terrific!!

Anytime I go to this restaurant, I order the same thing for the most part. The wings are always good except for today. A couple of them were undercooked very pink on the inside. My new favorite dish is the lo mein with chicken and shrimp. It is usually very good, but they do not make it the same all the time That lo mein should be made the same every single time ordered by anyone. My wife likes the wonton soup and the moo shu. The crab Rangoon were good as well. He’s make an effort to be more consistent with the food.
