Without a doubt, the worst food I’ve ever had. Some of the general gau‘s chicken peices didn’t seem to have any chicken in it at all other than maybe some skin or fat, it was just a big blob of batter. It didn’t even taste good. The lo mein looked, smelled, and tasted burnt. The spareribs smelled like they have gone bad. The rice dishes that we got were mediocre at best.

Went last night for dinner after not eating here for a few years, server came to our table TWICE in about 2 hours. We waited about 25 min for our order to even be taken. Then an hour for our food which was just a small & a large pho. By the time we were ready to go, I had been sipping on melting ice for the last 20 min, hoping someone would come ask if anything was needed and if everything was okay so I could ask for a refill & some soy sauce & limes. Nobody ever came, sipped on melted ice and never got a refill, never got soy sauce for our dumplings, no limes for our pho, because after they dropped off the food, it’s like they disappeared. Literally. While every other table recieved refills, were asked multiple times if everything was okay, etc. we were never asked once.
This must be why I never came back in the first place, never again!

It's always good at Sugar Cane. It is one of the few restaurants w it's own parking lot in downtown Peabody. They mix a good mai tai, and the food is delicious. The service is consistently good.

LOVE Sugarcane! Delicious, clean food, lots of variety. Friendly staff. We return frequently. Their lunch specials are thr best and their prices are fair. Tried someplace else when Sugarcsne was on a week's vacation. No comparison! The other place was twice as much money and the food was a big letdown. Do yourself a favor and try Sugarcane in Peabody. You won't be sorry. Try a lunch special on your 1st visit (which won't be your last). Lunch specials are served from 11:30 - 4:00..

Always great food. Ordered on uber eats and part of the meal was forgotten. The restaurant called us to apologize before we even realized it was missing and then personally brought it to us. Amazing service!

I ordered for takeout so I won’t rate the atmosphere. I ordered a pu-pu platter for 2, spring rolls and a large house special pho and a seafood pho… Absolutely horrible. The broth they use is boxed vegetable broth in BOTH pho bowls. There wasn’t even a little bit of oil in the broth… it lacked seasoning, flavor, and aroma. (I’m assuming that this restaurant is just white washed in order to serve the demographic that it’s in, that’s the only excuse I can possibly come up with.)I know how to make both pho & kathiew so trust me on this.. This place is just good to order the Chinese plates. But the viet cuisine? No. Hell to the nah. They couldn’t even get the peanut sauce for the spring rolls right. Smh. Wasted $96 for trash food. Next time I’ll just stop being lazy and either make it myself or drive all the way to Lowell or Lynn for some AUTHENTIC delicious South East Asian food. Y’all trippin
