I was impressed by the clean and neat environment. The place had a warm vibe, with comfy seating and a cozy layout. It felt like a great spot to relax and enjoy a good meal, whether you're with friends or on a special date.
I ordered some salmon sashimi. It was incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth. Each piece was beautifully presented.
The service was top-notch too. The server was super friendly and really knew the menu. They offered great recommendations and checked in on us just enough to make sure we were happy without being intrusive. It made the whole experience feel special.
All in all, this restuarant is a fantastic spot for anyone craving delicious sushi in a clean and inviting environment. Highly recommend checking it out!

Went to Tokyo Steak House in Peabody over the long weekend and had such a great time! The chef was fun and engaging, the sushi and habachi set was fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. The steak and scallop were cooked perfectly, and the fried rice was amazing. Friendly staff and lively atmosphere—definitely recommend and will be back!

I will never order food from here again. Just ordered a hibachi meal and I found an entire bug in my food, absolutely disgusting. Clearly their kitchen isn't clean so I worry about what else could be going into their food

DO NOT COME HERE. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I got to the restaurant at 645 and a chef never came up to the hibachi table until 815. They said they only had 2 chefs here but they should’ve told us that we would’ve been waiting a while until we get served. The food was decent it’s just disappointing to be waiting over an hour to get served. No apologies or anything either. Awful.

I come with my daughter around once every 2 week's and it's ALWAYS a great meal . Waitresses are always nice and the hibachi cooks are all great . They all do the little tricks with the food (flipping the egg shell into his hat , making a volcano with the onion tower, etc) .
It's my go-to spot .....

Take out lunch chicken teriyaki was awful, dry and hard around the edges. The only time I was happy for a small portion. Will not be returning

I recently visited Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by discriminatory treatment that left me deeply disappointed. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with indifference, a stark contrast to the warm welcome given to other patrons. I waited far longer than everyone else to be seated, despite the restaurant being relatively empty. When I was finally escorted to a table, the service was slow and dismissive, as if my presence didn’t matter.
As the evening went on, it became more apparent that the staff (Amy) was treating me differently. I overheard other tables receiving special attention, while my requests for basic assistance were ignored or brushed off.
The food, which is the only redeeming aspect of my visit, didn’t make up for the lack of respect I experienced. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, and it was clear that my presence was unwelcome. I left the restaurant feeling hurt and disrespected, which overshadowed any positive aspects of the meal.
In an industry that thrives on inclusivity and hospitality, it’s heartbreaking to see such blatant discrimination. I won’t be returning to Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse ever while visiting from out of state and I strongly encourage others to consider their values before dining there. It's a shame that this kind of treatment still occurs, especially in spaces that should be open and welcoming to all.

Tokyo was very fast paced no show at all in regards to hibachi and cook was throwing all of our food on the table verses the plate.
