To the owner of this place: you’ll bump up your sales by at least 20% if you switch metal chairs to plastic or wooden. Or just get matts/covers for the existing chairs. It will work out. I guarantee.

Waited patiently for my order for 30 min. Had to follow up and they hadn’t even made it. It was not busy. Everyone working there was confused about how to do their jobs and they were not apologetic. Too bad, used to be good.

I’m ordering on doordash two simple things that take about only 8 minutes to make when i’m in store. it’s now been 30 mins since ive ordered and the time still keeps going up for when it’ll be delivered… won’t be requesting delivery anymore for sure.

I’m a loyal customer of Tropical Smoothie and regularly visit the locations in Saugus, Swampscott, and Peabody. Unfortunately, the Peabody location consistently disappoints me with its service.
Last week, I went there for lunch. The store wasn’t busy, but the staff were joking around and forgot to make my quesadilla—I had to remind them. Today, I had another unpleasant experience. After waiting, one staff member handed me my food. When I asked about my smoothie, another girl yelled at me, saying there were only three of them working. A different staff member, who seemed a bit more professional, took over. Then, the girl who had yelled at me said, “She got this,” and pushed the smoothies onto the table without saying another word.
This level of service is frustrating, especially compared to the friendly and efficient experiences I have at the other locations. I truly hope the Peabody team can improve.

I love Tropical Cafe and this was the first time I visited this location. The girl who took my order was very focused on her friends who were sitting at a table in the dining area. She was making the smoothies out of order so people who ordered after me were served first. As I was sitting at the counter (waiting 20 minutes for my smoothie) I noticed it was very dirty behind the counter. It wasn’t very busy and other people were also annoyed. My smoothie did not taste like it has when I’ve gotten it at other locations. I won’t ever return to this location.

I visited Tropical Smoothie when they were busy, and my smoothie turned out watery. One of the workers dropped my straw on the floor and handed it to me, which is unsanitary. When I asked for a new one, she rolled her eyes. However, the lady at the checkout was lovely! 😄

Had me waiting for 15 min, I had to ask the worker for my order, when they are obviously supposed to place online orders at the side, and they just grabbed it from the back, like it’s already been done… how you have my sandwich and smoothie sitting where you guts make the food, and I’m just standing there waiting while you help other customers… and it was cold, what a surprise

Staffs were okay but the smoothie was totally off. I regularly go TSC and the blueberry bliss I got today was the most the bland… couldn’t really taste any of the fruits. Just the ice and some smell of syrup.

Staff was friendly. Did a take out order and got a bowl. They placed my order label on top of the lid, which covered the original label of the bowl that has the use by info. It showed use by Monday and I ordered on Tuesday. I didn’t like that they covered up the label and gave me a day old bowl. When I opened the lid, there’s a strong chemical smell to it, not sure what that is. For $9, not worth it. The smoothie is good but I don’t think I will be ordering the food from now on.
