Tonight (Saturday, Dec. 20), my husband and I tried another old-school, family-owned, local hangout-type restaurant called Wadhurst in Peabody, and it was busy but very uninteresting. The holiday decor was lame, the lighting was so bright, the bartender was nice but extremely busy-didn't have time to chit-chat, and the ceiling vent above us (we sat at the bar) was caked with dust; it was disgusting. The potato skins and Buffalo tenders appetizers were delicious, plentiful, and affordable. So were their specialty drinks. But overall, it's one and done for me. I’m glad I tried it, but it totally lacked appeal, and I highly doubt I'll dine here again.

Take out was absolutely fabulous. They habe they best spinach pie, grape leaves, and side of butternut squash. Sit at the bar. The bartenders are the best!

I was really well looked after. The parking lot is quite large and the food tasted like the chef had made it to serve his family. The food was really good. It's rare to find a place like this that has such good quality and the place is so simple and so welcoming.

Best buffalo chicken pizza I've had! I ordered a large, and it was large alright....could feed a big family like mine.
The holiday Monday menu is what drew us in to try the restaurant, and we were delighted with the food, service and atmosphere. We will return again. Pleasantly excited about this new option.
