8 bucks for very stale pretzel bites. Friendly staff was the only reason this wasn’t 1 star

I made the mistake of ordering online because no one was at the store to help me. Now I can’t cancel the order because it makes me call the store but they don’t respond or act clueless when speaking on the phone.

Terrible experience. We came in with a buy one get one free pretzel coupon from the app, but the manager flat-out refused to honor it. She wouldn’t listen to us at all and just kept repeating “no, no, no” without explanation. We even tried using Google Translate in case it was a language issue, but she still wouldn’t acknowledge anything. Completely dismissive and unprofessional. If you’re in the area, skip this place and go down the mall to Auntie Anne’s instead—better service, more variety, and the pretzels are always fresh. Don’t settle for disrespect, if they don’t appreciate your business go somewhere else! 0/10 do NOT recommend.

I placed a pickup order to grab on my way home from work on Monday 2/24. After placing my order, the website stated that it would be ready for 6:02 PM.
Although I entered my phone number and email address on the checkout page, I was never sent any further updates on my order. However, my bank account was charged and everything appeared to be normal.
I headed to the counter, arriving at 6:15 PM. When I approached the woman working and told her that I had an order for pickup, she told me there were no online orders. I showed her the confirmation on my phone, still having the website open. The page listed the order, the pickup location and time, and proof of payment. She quickly glanced at it, said “no” and walked away.
There were no other customers to help, but she would not stay at the counter to assist me. I had to keep asking her to come back - to look at my phone and understand that I had already ordered and paid. She continued to say no and walked away each time.
Finally, she said that I needed to show her my name on the order. The name was not on my confirmation page and I had received no texts or emails. I told her my name and showed her my order number and explained that I had not received any communications, but she wouldn’t listen or offer me a solution. She refused to fulfill the order and help me in any way. Again, she walked away.
I asked if there was a phone number that I could call to get some help and she said no, I could not call anyone. She and another woman who was prepping the food (but ignoring me) started making faces like I was the being a problem.
It was clear she was not going to help me or refund my money.
I felt embarrassed and confused. So I had to leave with no food m, but they kept my money. I am out $20.
I called the location three times in hopes of reaching a manager, but my calls were never answered. I sent two emails to corporate that have still not been acknowledged. I am disputing the charge with my bank.
I would never recommend this location to anyone. I am a very patient and non-confrontational person. But I was treated like a nuisance and a problem. I have never experienced this anywhere else. They took my money and gave me nothing. I understand that mistakes happen and don’t mind waiting a bit longer to resolve things. But the woman working the counter treated me very poorly for no reason. And still, 2 days later, no one will help me.
Placed a big online order for a client's wedding via the Wetzel's web site (last minute after the client's own order failed to arrive via UberEats). Was given a pickup time about an hour out. Arrived at the mall and found it was completely locked up and had closed an hour earlier. Impossible to reach the store or HQ by phone. Emailed customer support and was told the franchisee would refund. Two months and many emails later, no response and no refund of my $160+. On the two occasions someone at HQ answered the phone, it was a person who didn't speak much English who tells me she is the only employee left and the stores have closed. Don't order from here!

I was walking to a wetzels and ordered a cup of hotdog breads, i payed and went on my way, as i was sitting down and eating the hotdog breads from the cup, apparently there was two breads that did not have a hotdog in it, now i don’t know why the people working there put the hotdog breads in the cup and not realize two of them did not have a hotdog in it.

You get the pretzel, you get the cheese, you put the pretzel in the cheese. You chant a magical phrase to the Wetzel sage, that will release him from his Wetzel cage. And if you've been righteous and true, he will fetch some extra cheese to bestow upon you... Literally the only way to get extra cheese dip.

Tasty pretzels. Cinnamon sugar bites weren't perfect, but life isn't either.
Well, Wetzel's Pretzels at the Northshore Mall in Peabody, MA did it again! They refused to give my two sons and I free pretzels even though their menu flashed behind them “Free pretzels for all! National Pretzel Day!†They told us we had to buy something. “Well that's not free...†told them. Then they finally gave me one but refused to give my other son one. I said “That isn't what the sign says “free pretzel(S) for ALL!†This shop has ruined National Pretzel Day for my two boys and I two years in a row as they did the same thing last year! I shouldn't have to beg in front of my kids for something they are offering on their menu and websites for free! I don't want to be humiliated and embarrassed every year in front of my children. It broke their hearts when the workers kept saying no to free pretzels like the big screens said!
