“We ordered takeout and it was great! Burgers & Fries and a Chicken Ceaser Wrap. Burgers were delicious, especially the Chipotle Burger with jalapeños and spicy sauce. The Ceaser Wrap was fresh and had the right amount of chicken to lettuce, with a nice creamy dressing. Got a side of extra crispy fries and they were just right. Would definitely recommend this place and would order again when in the area. The lady who took the order was so nice and the food came fast, the price/food was right in my mind and we grabbed some iced teas. Thank you!”

“I go there at least twice or three times in a month and I always get the roast beef with my own pickles and my cousin gets the cheeseburger with lettuce and mayo always always very friendly. Very good food is excellent. I highly recommend if you try the roast beef and the Greek salad are also good. I drive from Middleborough to there just to get my sandwich. I don’t get a sandwich anywhere else. keep up the good work guys.”

“We went in at 5:45 on Saturday and got seated right away. Our server, Marina, was very friendly with a great sense of humor. She brought our drinks quickly and took our orders and brought our food out hot. We got the Smash burger and Cowboy burger and they were cooked just the way we asked. Looking forward to going back for the fancier entrees or one of the Saturday specials. Great job by all.”

“Somewhere Else Tavern along Rte. 127 in Bryantville/Pembroke, Mass. I must say I've been at the building, since 2009 (15 years) when it was "Old School". It was a building then, a bar/restaurant of sorts, but now it is someplace special. Since Lori and Jayson, who also own the "Fork in the Road" delicatessen in Bryantville and the Olde Hitching Post restaurant in Hanson, took over the restaurant and renamed it, it is now a place for excellent food, beverages, and a wonderful, wonderful group of people, their patrons. What makes Somewhere Else truly special is that on almost every night, Jayson, Lori, or Lori's sister, Lee Ann, will be there taking care of their customers..... their friends. This past Sunday, was Lori's birthday and EVERYONE was included to celebrate her birthday, Chinese food (seemingly Lori's favorite), cake and ice cream shared with all. But best of all, was not the food, but the celebration of friendship.... Thank you Lori, Jayson and Lee Ann. For those of you who have not stopped by, do so. You'll enjoy your time at the Somewhere Else Tavern.”

“I found this lovely lady at the Hanover Farmers Market. Let me tell you…Holy moly!! I consider myself a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur and these were the best #1 cookie in my book ever!!! My 14yo also agreed and wanted to go back for more!! So soft and a perfect amount of chocolate chips in the middle but the outside wasn’t crispy but had a perfect bite to it. I will never make or buy a cookie anywhere else. They just won’t compare!”

“I’ll start with the positives: the food was excellent, the drinks and views were awesome, and even the wait wasn’t bad since the chairs were comfortable and you could grab a drink while waiting. That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.”

“My husband and I have been going to Longhorn in Pembroke since it opened, and we love it! We have had almost everything on the menu, and we've never had a bad meal. The steaks, ribs, and salmon are cooked to perfection. The appetizers, sides and desserts are fabulous. I have brought friends, family, and colleagues to this restaurant because it is that good! I would definitely say first class dining!! Thank you to the manager, wait staff, and of course the chefs and kitchen crew. A fantastic experience every time!! “They lost a customer!! We ordered take out 2 weeks ago on Friday night, Caesar salad with chicken, chicken Alfredo, and chicken broccoli Alfredo. We picked up the food within 30 minutes, the time we were quoted when picking up and live about 10 minutes away, let just say it was one of the worst take out meals we have had. Immediately after we started eating I called and spoke to the manager, the salad was watery and croutons were mushy, the chicken Alfredo was cold, the Parmesan wasn't melted! The food tasted like it a day old and microwaved! The manager took all my info and stated she would call me back after dinner service, never heard from her. Saturday I called back after not hearing, the same manager answered apologizing it was late when she finished dinner service but the owner was out of town and would call me back during the week, ok no problem. Late Monday I get a voicemail from the owners wife, working in customer service I was appalled by the voicemail. She stated that croutons do get soggy if you don't eat the salad right away and to order the dressing on the side next time. And that Alfredo just separates if you don't eat right away, suggesting I don't let it sit to room temperature before serving. I immediately called her back and explained I picked up the order and called within 40 minutes of placing the order, she stated that wasn't explained to me. She continued to tell me, speaking to someone in the background I have never heard this many complaints before. She proceeded to ask me what I wanted her to do about it, she stated she needed to talk to her husband because they don't just refund someone because they complain... I proceeded to tell her I had pictures if she was interested. I texted her the pictures and she told me she had to speak to her husband and would call me back... over a week later no call back...”

“I have been going to PHop since I was a child, so has my husband. My children have enjoyed it their whole life. We moved to Carver 5 years ago and still make the drive to Pembroke center for our favorite Sub/pizza shop. The family treats you like extended family members. I would highly recommend Pembroke House of Pizza!”
