This place was amazing , but what made this restaurant exceptional was the service. Not every full service Restaurant you go to do you find the kind of care I found here. Our Waitress Kayla made us feel like we rented the restaurant out. She was very tentative to our table. Recommended us great food options, such as the cookie skillet which we loved. I recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for amazing food and amazing service. Thank you route 53!

So I found this place while driving back from Boston wanted to try a new place it has a nice atmosphere inside and the host are really friendly. The only down sides I would say is the service is alittle slow and when I asked my server questions on the menu she did not know and had to ask the kitchen multiple times or would just say everything on the menu is delicious. I got a honey mustard chicken salad and it came with cold noodles . But when I got it it came with cold angel hair pasta I kinda though it was going to be a soba style like cold noodles but it was just a weird combo.

I expected a little more based on the reviews, but I was a little put off by Route 53 Tavern. There was valet parking right at the entrance, making me feel like I had to have my car parked, which I wasn't very comfortable with. I'd rather have complimentary bread (which was instead $2 for one piece with butter) than a valet. The service was alright but the food wasn't as stand-out as I expected it to be at that price. For 18$, a Mac and Cheese should knock my socks off, but they're still securely on my feet.

We sat outside in the patio, very pretty with all the flowers. The food was delicious, one of us got the chicken pot pie and it was amazing. I had the chicken sauce and it was delicious, we were too hungry to take pictures
the salad was not worth the money brown avacado is not acceptable/ not for those prices - and then they threw in the end piece of romaine lettuce!!! and the rest was arugula very disappointing

We went early on a Saturday night, so it wasn't too packed yet. Complimentary Valet was quick, we were seated immediately and food was brought out fast. Meal was delicious and our server was very aytentive.

Not going here again. It wasn’t busy but the service was as if it was mobbed. Barely saw the waitress at all and when we did, she was cranky and rude. Food was passable. Do not recommend!!

The food was ok. Consider adjusting your table bread situation, $2 for a fist-sized loaf that is destroyed when cutting it? I wouldn’t mind as much if it wasn’t frozen bread heated up before service. I wasn’t prepared for the valet parking and didn’t have cash on me, which was unfortunate because those guys were awesome and probably put more effort in than whomever designed their seating area.
