After being disappointed at The Sun Tavern this weekend, I brought my sister to Disch’s on Route 53 and I should have just gone there in the first place. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like family. The valet car service makes it easy and stress-free, and the warm greeting as you step through the door sets the tone for the whole experience.
The staff at Disch’s are exceptionally friendly and attentive, always making you feel welcome and appreciated. They seem to truly care about their guests, remembering faces and going out of their way to make sure every detail is right.
The food is consistently outstanding, prepared with care, and always arrives fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It is also fairly priced for the quality you receive, which makes every visit feel like great value.
While the noise level is a little higher than The Sun Tavern, it comes from the sound of happy conversations and people enjoying themselves. The lively energy, combined with excellent food, professional service, and the convenience of valet parking, makes Disch’s a place I am proud to bring family, friends, or business

We went for a family gathering and had a fantastic experience! The food and service were both absolutely fabulous. Each of us ordered something different, and every dish was top-notch. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We highly recommend trying their dishes — you won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful experience and the food was amazing! It also came out super fast which was perfect for a family with two children. We found this restaurant on our way back from Maine and thought it would be a perfect stop on our way back to the cape. I’m so glad we stumbled upon Route 53 Tavern! We stopped while traveling through with our 6 kids. The staff were so kind & patient with us and food was amazing! I would highly recommend!
Great spot for a couple’s night out. Everything ordered was of good quality, tasty. Allow a few mins to find a parking space!

Risotto cakes were amazing. The red sauce is absolutely delicious. The French onion soup was good but extremely salty, would likely be good with a mixed drink or as an appetizer with additional bread to cut the salt.
