WOW!!! First time here for my 60th. Prior to our family’s arrival wife made arrangements to have balloons at the table. She dealt with the owner who was more than accommodating… he personally served me a favorite scotch upon me being seated. Avery, the server was so vey pleasant happy professional and attentive with her service as were all other service staff we encountered. THE FOOD..::simply amazing. I had the salmon and it was out of this world. We have three teenage children that have eaten chicken fingers all over the south shore..:my oldest took one bite and said” Dad we need to come back to this place!!! The place is A+++++ all around from atmosphere, service, great tater and reasonable price. Definitely will return!

We ordered clam chowder. It was more like a potato chowder, absolutely no claùms. Very, very disappointing. We ask that our appetizer be served WITH the chowder and it arrived after we were nearly finished. Waitress was very nice although it appeared the manager was reprimanding her for something in the corner. Norhibg to do with out delimema. The manager was no help to this waitress and she had 5 tables that came all at the same time. Won't recommend this place to anyone.

Got takeout Sunday night. The website/ordering platform needs updating. Sandwiches did not have ingredients listed and had some added that weren’t either. Was missing gravy with poutine so it was just dry with fatty short rib on top, neither wrap was made as ordered. Maybe it was just Sunday night and they were doing side work to get out early, but looks like no one bothered to check the order.

We usually prefer more veg options on the menu and non mainstream menu. We had limited options to order as the menu is very meat friendly. Well I must say we were impressed. Highly recommend bao buns, pasta and caramel dessert.

Blacksmith Tavern in Pembroke was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The clam chowder was watery and flavorless — totally missed the mark. Burgers came out overcooked and dry without anyone asking how we wanted them. My boyfriend asked for blue cheese on his burger — never got it. Sweet potato fries were soggy and cold. Service was indifferent at best. Overall, the food was disappointing and absolutely not worth the price. Won’t be going back.

Drinks really good and food ok but seriously they need to change their menu food Everthing is more then others locals restaurant if they change their menu food definitely could have more people and more frequent customers
Went there for Easter dinner two of us ordered Filet mignon medium rare and another ordered steak frites medium rare. All 3 plates cam to table medium well. We sent back and the chef came back with 3 new orders and asked us to cut into it and all 3 still wrong overcooked again medium well. 4th plate was Bolognese it came luke warm with very little sauce and dry. Two of the people got sick the next day. Never eat here.
