Tolson’s is one of our favorite spots. The food and drinks are always great, and the atmosphere is a perfect mix of lively and laid-back. Best part about this place ... is the staff — they’re genuinely friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond in ways you don’t see anymore.
You can tell they care not just about the customers, but about the community too. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place with great service and an even better vibe.

The smash burger isn’t a smash burger. Ordered one, one of the patties was medium rare which shouldn’t happen in a smash burger. It just seemed like two frozen patties as they weren’t super thin as they should be. Drinks were pricey for a Pembroke bar/restaurant

What many knew as British Beer Co. is now Tolson’s Tap and I can say if you haven’t checked it out then you should. Stopped in for a quick lunch and the service was fast and friendly. The menu is huge so there is something for everyone. It’s definitely kid friendly as they have a make your own pizza night for the little ones. Great spot for comfort food/pub grub. Recommend you give them a try!

I got a short rib sandwich which was good but I got way less fries than my friend who got the Ruben sandwich and they weren't seasoned even salt was missing. Im a cider drinking, so I tried what was on tap and it tasted like beer which I don't like and don't drink so I went with the can option and it was great but when I asked for another they were out! Seriously? So overall the company was definitely better than the food and atmosphere.

I hadn’t been to this restaurant in a while but I stopped by earlier this week. I was shocked to see that the infamous “Chumley” was there performing the head chef duties. As I walked in the door I was warmly greeted by Chumley and some other marketing guy named Karl. “1/2 price wings for all before 5pm every M-F.”, they said. This deal does not disappoint!!! Anyways, the place and food were great! Big kudos to Trish at the bar. You make this place always feel like home.

If you want decent food and like live music and trivia then this is the place for you. If you want good service then this is not the place for you. I’ve been here a dozen times and had good service twice. I come back for the food and put up with lousy service. Places like this don’t attract top servers in the area. It attracts the ones that other great places have fired. Believe me. I have seen the retreads here. I can spot them. I go out 6 nights a week. I really want this spot to be better. But I’ve accepted that it has B+ food with D- service.
