Towne Tavern & Treehouse - Pembroke

I’ll start with the positives: the food was excellent, the drinks and views were awesome, and even the wait wasn’t bad since the chairs were comfortable and you could grab a drink while waiting. That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.

We had a very nice time. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the view from the treehouse.

The location is beautiful! Not worth waiting 50 minutes for just an app, plenty of wait staff standing around and one server running around doing all the work.

On the suggestion of a co-worker, I took my wife here figuring let’s give this place a shot. She’s usually not into the pub scene but I figured she’s either gonna love it or hate it. We were both completely blown away. This place was amazing. Great drinks, amazing food, and live music to boot, and the service was fantastic.
