I recently dined at 101 Restaurant and Bar, and overall, the experience was just okay. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly, but there were some issues with the food. I tried the fried green tomatoes, but they were served as red tomatoes instead, resulting in a dish that was watery and soggy, lacking the crispness and flavor that comes with green tomatoes. If they had run out of green tomatoes, or were going to make this change, I would have appreciated being let know, so I could decide whether or not I still wanted to order this dish or choose something else. Additionally, the salad was enjoyable, but it had too little dressing. Our server, who was very nice, promptly brought more upon request. However, the additional dressing appeared to be thinned out with milk or water, which diluted the flavor compared to the initial serving.

We’ve been to the 101 Restaurant and Bar for dinner twice in the past two months and the food there is absolutely amazing! Last night, I tried the 40 ounce ribeye and it was fantastic! Honestly, the best steak I have ever eaten!! My wife has gotten the pecan crusted catfish both times and that too has been superb! Even though we live in Southern New Hampshire, we will make the drive 2 1/2 hours to eat at this restaurant again and again. Whether in this area or not, please try the 101 Restaurant and Bar as you will not be disappointed!!

Maybe it was the time we got there (9:30 am), but the scrambled eggs were dry, the sausage was hard and chewy, and the bacon was brittle and tasteless. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

I recently ordered the Mac and cheese dinner with poached crawfish. I got shrimp instead and the Mac and cheese was a watery mess. I wouldn't recommend this place.

First time at 101 was 4 weeks ago when we arrived to our hotel and discovered it on the 2nd floor. The 40oz ribeye caught our eyes on the specials menu. It did not disappoint!!! This thing was a hunk of delicious meat and nothing short of that. Great peppercorn sauce and delicious sides, mashed taters and grilled veggies. This think it no joke, make sure you eat lightly leading up to this glorious meal, you’ll need the stomach space!We returned to canada and told stories of this legendary steak. Needless to say, we drove down again today to go for round 2, and it was just as marvellous as the first time.
Haven't been here in a while but the place has been all remodeled and much nicer. Expensive though.

This place is way above the level of the average Holiday Inn restaurants. The menu is varied and creative. I had cajun rubbed salmon with asparagus and potatoes which was delicious. Our table started off with perfectly cooked and flavored oxtail on s baguette, something that would be hard to find outside of a Caribbean restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient.
