Just had the best start to my day! Seems like so much is closed on Tuesdays. As a result, I went beyond where I was staying and stumbled upon Dottie's. Not only open, it was AMAZING! Personable barista with delicious food (the caper pesto!) and great coffee. Worth the trip!

I was super excited to try this place. Enter nobody greet me, I was lost and very sure look the part. I approach the cash register and without a good motto was told they would help me when they were done. Ai just ask if I should seat or wait for them. He told me to grab a table, check the table number and come back and order. I did so.No menus on the table nor were offered so I checked in their webpage. I went back and ordered. At that time I was told that that were out of what I wanted to order something else. I ask for a menu. Then I order a Tuna sandwich with out mustard nor tomatoes. FYI this is a $15 sandwich ? soon as I sat down chai tea was brought to the table it was beautiful and delicious. At that moment I was approved by the gentleman that took my order. Tuna is already mixed with the mustard I asked what were my option and instead of giving me option he brought me a menu. ? since i didn’t like anything I asked for a refund. Few minutes later they brought me a ticket telling me that they just charged me the tea. I was talking with a friend so didn’t paid too much attention. When I left and got to car noticed the ticket they kept my original 18% tip!!! I went back and when asked the server he looked annoyed and said that’s what I gave them in my original transaction, I was like yes! 18% of the original order. After walking all the restaurant he decided to take care of my problem. Place is beautiful, tea is amazing, customer service sucks, and not being able to accommodate changes is an inconvenience. Not recommended

What a great addition to a developing and vibrant downtown Pittsfield ! Artsy, chic, and wonderful business concept !During day it is a cool and hip cafe, while evenings have live music and theme nights with large plates to share which provide a total food experience to your evening.Staff were kind snd welcoming. Entire vibe is unique and fun!Highly recommend the Vanilla Latte, Waffles, and Breakfast sandwich on a fresh biscuit.

Friendly staff and a really good vibe to the place. More seating than you'd expect. Really good Vegan Sandwich BLT I'd highly recommend. Also seems like a really good spot for co-working! Will be returning if in the area.
Got a pricey scone. The texture was good but the onion was overpowering and the cheese was so negligible that the variety of cheese was totally unidentifiable. I chalk some of that up to different tastes but the large piece of thick plastic wrap attached to a matching-size piece of thick, brown paper that was contained in a bite was an awful surprise. I took a picture of it but there's no option to attach it.

My experience was very poor, but mostly due to customers, not the service. We ordered 3 cold brews and a sandwich to go. Food came out pretty fast, but then we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for our cold brew coffee. I asked for milk in my drinks but the cashier told me I could add it on my own from the "milk bar" that I was literally watching people cough/sneeze/ touch all over. The lobby was crazy crowded, which I suppose is good for Dottie's, but had me stressed. A guy came in with a dog, not marked as a service dog, which is not the issue. The issue was the 6'5" dude that tripped over it, kicking the dog and nearly falling on me and my son. Then a lady, her husband, toddler and infant came in and ordered. They left the baby literally on the ground in the car seat near the register and went into the dining room, leaving the baby completely unattended with people nearly tripping on it several times. Mom and dad both looked aloof like zombies. Some old lady was staring me down, presumably because I was masking, which was very uncomfortable and obvious. By the time we finally got our order home, the sandwich was cold ( and my son said flavorless) and I ended up adding my own milk to my drinks. Can't believe this experience cost $40.

Moved out of the pitts a while ago and every single time I am home I make it appoint to get me a Dottie’s coffee. I wouldn’t miss it for the world, seriously!!!Was happy to bring a first time customer along with me this last visit.We both enjoyed very much!
