The dinner menu here is interesting, thoughtfully prepared and presented, and very tasty. We've enjoyed everything we had here from mixed drinks to main courses to dessert. It's difficult to avoid spending over $100 on a meal for two, but for us the food is generally worth the price and certainly a cut above many other eateries in Pittsfield.The service, unfortunately, does not rise to the same level of professionalism as the cuisine. Everything was just great... the large room with high ceilings, excellent beds, friendly service, nice restaurant and other cozy lounging spots with comfy furniture... The location is also good, on the main street in an historic Berkshires town. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We were overnight hotel guests at the adjacent Hotel on North. The hotel previously owned and operated the restaurant but when the restaurant re-opened after the height of the pandemic, it opened under a new name and management. The restaurant owners and managers operate at least one other property, and definitely know what they're doing, but I suspect finer dining in downtown Pittsfield remains a challenge, especially mid-winter during what is hopefully the tail end of the pandemic....read full review
