Elm Street Luncheonette Reviews
A sort of history come to life experience. Quick friendly service. Good food. The woman who served me has worked there for 50yrs! Cash only.Kid-friendliness: Lots of pics of kids on walls.
Good hole in the wall diner. Classic atmosphere. They've had the same ladies working for the last 20 years at least. Food is classic diner good. Not bougie lattes and arugula salads, it's hash from a can and it's awesome. Could be cleaner but that's not really the point.
Expect a well-worn neighborhood diner experience and you won't be disappointed. Expect cash only. The long-experienced staff are chill and operate at a calm professional pace - but do not mistake that for slow. Expect common diner foods prepared in the usual way. If you're disappointed anyway, there's the upscale Samel's Deli next door which I also love.
