Family of 5 , 3 adults and 2 children ate tonight. Everything was outstanding. A hidden gem we encourage all in the area to experience!

The broiled mushrooms are one of the single best bites of food in Pittsfield! I can't imagine someone leaving here hungry. I personally love the food and the bread is to die for. The service is always first rate and the food even though not fancy, is delicious, all for a price you can't complain about. Locals have known this for years. Pittsfield is lucky to have had the Highland for seemingly, ever.

Used to eat here routinely as a child and 50 years later returned. Still a comforting dinner, great value for money and felt like “home”. Our meals were very good and service was very friendly.

Tried it for the first time the other day. It’s apparently everyone’s favorite spot because the waitress never stopped running around, but there was never more than a few minute wait for people. Even though every seat was full, the kitchen did great producing food. My meal was delicious and a bigger portion than I thought! I definitely will be back!

Extremely basic restaurant. I feel like I've stepped back in time here, like the 1960's-1970's. No frills - part of the restaurant is a bar. Down home type of feel place. Basic tables, chairs, booths, atmosphere - but food is really good & generous portions. Daily specials.

What a wonderful place. Reminds me of one of those places my parents took us when we were kids. Easy to understand why they have been in business so long.

Normal, home cooking from 4-9pm. Great if you like spaghetti. Parking becomes free at 4pm.
