They are understaffed and what staff is there is stressed. The bacon was disgusting. They don't have a cash register to pay and no one had time to take our money because again the wait staff is understaffed. They need a register like every other diner in the northeast

My family has been going here for years and always loved it. We show up on a Sunday an hour and ten minutes before they closed and the doors were locked. We were very confused. Called and no answer. Finally a young man comes to the door and says they stop serving at 1pm (the sign on the door states they are open until 2pm). I said, well it's not 1pm yet but he refused to seat us (party of 3). He said it was a busy Labor Day weekend and they were done for the day. We were very upset and disappointed. I asked for a manager but he said he already spoke to someone. If they were short staffed or ran out of food I would have been more forgiving but it just felt like bad business and rude customer service to me. Poorly handled and not clear on why they closed so early. Not sure if I'll go again anytime soon.

We REALLY love it here! They make a killer breakfast and the service is really great. Everyone is super friendly. Their apple cider mimosas are so yummy in the fall. This place is often busy but the turnover is pretty good
I found hair in my eggomtet and i found a pice of gum GUM in the bottom of my milkshake! I will no longer be coming to that dinner that is disgusting and disappointing.

I have been a customer for years. It was a standard go to back when it was located on East st. We stopped for breakfast this morning and spent $35 with tip for food we did not eat. The potatoes were a pile of greasy deep fried crumbs, inedible. The toast was limp cardboard with margarine on it. The homemade hash tasted like canned dog food. The coffee was good as well as the service. The waitstaff were very nice and did a good job. As for the food, we won’t be back…..Sad.

They were out of half of the menu. No chicken fried steak no roast beef half the menu is roast beef. No cole slaw only one hamburger left only one Ruben left. Heard them tell another table no steak. No bell peppers for omelette. How do you run a business like this.

I came to this diner for my annual visit and am so upset over the treatment I received from the manager Bonnie and our server Kelly. I was not happy with what I ordered and when I told Kelly she said “ well I’ll wrap it up but I still have to charge you for it because there is nothing wrong with it”. I asked to speak to a manager so Bonnie the manager came out and as I tried to explain to her she interrupted me would not let me speak and said to me “ I don’t want to hear your mouth I’ll just take it off your bill”. I have never had someone speak so rude to me at a restaurant. She really needs to take some programs on how to deal with the public. I will be taking this to someone above her so others will be spared her wrath. I will be posting this on several social media sites.
