Rick, the owner/baker, is friendly, the bread is flavorful and has a good texture. I toasted a slice of the seeded rye this morning - truly the best rye bread I've ever tasted. Know that the bakery is located behind Guido’s Market next to the Hilton Garden Inn. Turn into Guido’s driveway and keep driving straight up the hill until the driveway ends, the door is on the left
Used to go to Pittsfield Rye Bakery weekly as a kid with my family... Back into the Berkshire and stopped in for a load of pumpernickel and a loaf of rye. Just like the old days, top quality, great flavor, awesome as toast or sandwich or even a plain slice! Behind Guido's on the Pittsfield Road.
Their breads and rolls go up to eleven! I can’t get enough of their Signature Farmers Bread. It’s so flavorful and consistently delicious. Great bakery and breads - you won’t be disappointed whether you buy their breads in stores locally or drop in in-person to the main bakery store
