For anyone who craves decent Mexican and El Salvadoran food, this is about the only option in Pittsfield, and it's really good. The owner-chef really cares about his customers and the food he makes, and it really shows. I don't think there is a dish on the menu that we've ordered and didn't like. They are also great with to-go orders, which are always still piping hot when we get home. And the in-restaurant market is fun for getting some authentic ingredients...
I have not dined in yet, but I have had exquisite food delivered. Everything I have tried so far has been delicious. I can compare to other similar restaurants and Placita Latina Restaurant & Market is, hands down, the best. From the Chimichangas to the Taco de Birrias and authentic style tacos, I am hooked. I have tried other styles of some of the same dishes elsewhere (on days they are closed) and they cannot measure up. I highly recommend trying and make sure to thank them...
Ordered here a couples times, the food is great. They have an amazing little shop with goodies you can’t really find in the local area. The energy is very upbeat and positive. I will buy from them again.
