Very homey. Food is fresh. Prices are great. Like an old small diner, not showy. Staff very friendly. Parking is metered, but 1/2 hour free. In a lower income area but felt safe. I think this is a nice find. Closes at 1.

Food was good and the server was very sweet. I will say the experience was entirely ruined when the owner started ignorantly yapping about immigrants. Was visiting with my immigrant partner and he was incredibly uncomfortable. He made multiple blatantly racist and uneducated comments. Disappointed because we have ordered take out from this restaurant many times, and wouldn't have supported the business had I known this.

The place is one of my all time favorite to visit. The atmosphere is amazing. People are super friendly and it’s nice to see everyone talking to each other and a real connection. The food was great and I would travel miles to come back if I’m ever in the area again. It’s a classic place with an old school register and pay cash only. Also it was very reasonably priced. I was up visiting from Florida my step Dad who is in a nursing home. It was a pleasure and joy taking a break to eat here.
