The best blueberry pancakes around! Tasty food, amazing low prices and the friendliest staff. The restaurant is 70 years old and they haven’t updated much with the interior but that’s why it’s so charming. If you need frills, this isn’t the place for you. For everyone else… run here. If you want a truly satisfying home cooked breakfast go to the Soda Chef on North Street in Pittsfield. It may not look like much from the outside, but this is an authentically retro old school diner with bar stools at the counter and also a few tables available for sitting at. All of the food is freshly prepared to order by George. The eggs were amazingly fresh and so tasty! Their home fries can be made with or without onions, as you prefer, and I opted for the onions. These were definitely the BEST home fries I've ever eaten at a restaurant. I also ordered bacon, which they cooked to order. Asking if I wanted it soft, medium, crispy or extra crispy. My husband had the sausage which was also delicious. Patty waited on us and she was so nice and really attentive to us. We haven't had a chance to have lunch there, but I have no doubt it will be just as satisfying!

Terrible environment, the place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. The staff was very rude about the cash only policy, even though they only mentioned it when I arrived in to pick up my order and pay with card. They told me to go walk to an ATM that was 10 minutes away. I had to call twice in order to even place my order. Will not order from here EVER again!!
