Absolutely amazing ?

We made a 2 go order 2 twin bacon cheeseburgers one with tots one with fries. Nowhere on the menu does it say or show you that what your getting is 2 slidder burgers a tiny bit bigger then a white castle burger for 16 bucks. The burger....or say slider burgers were good but not even in the ballpark of 16 bucks. I also got an order of fried pickles.... boo....cut very thin....in circles.....and most were burnt ....how could you not burn um they where paper thin. No sauce to dip all for 9 bucks. I spent 43 bucks on 4 sliders and burnt pickles...I'd never order there again. I did leave a 20% tip and was very respectful as always.

Great little place for eclectic bar food. Doesn't look like much from the outside but really cool bar and seating inside. Service was prompt and attentive. Loaded Tater tot starter was excellent. Loved my sliders - tender and flavorful with the right amount of fixings. Companion's fish was a total miss - undercooked and flavorless - which is the only reason for the 4. Would absolutely go again with friends.

From the initial greeting to paying the bill, we weren't impressed. I walked in with 2 friends, and our 3 sons after a day at Jiminy Peak. The boys were starving and looking for a good meal. The bartender greeted us with a scowl upon entering and were clearly not happy for more work. After being seated across the restaurant from each other (which was not an issue), we quickly placed our orders and proceeded to freeze as we waited for our food, because it was roughly 55-60 degrees inside. My food arrived, along with one other meal at our table, but it was a good 5 minutes before the 3rd dinner arrived. No apologies, just late. My food was Luke warm at best when it arrived, and only got colder as we waited. The boys food took even longer. I will say, that aside from temperature, my burger and tots tasted good. As we paid, we had to take the servers word for our bill, because it's all on an iPad. As we paid, something happened with the iPad and one of us got charged twice. No apologies again. He just went on his merry way. I'd be embarrased if my college age son treated any customer as we were treated. Management should have a little review with his team regarding customer service before they're left alone again.

Honestly, best meal I've had all year! Grab some tater tots, fully loaded and the braised pork with Greek yogurt. Husband loved the Schnitzel. Unsung hero of the area. 10/10 stars

Amazing amazing food! It has a mix of classics-bacon cheeseburgers(the best) and tater tots, to very creative, one of a kind creations. The owner/chef is one of the most creative food artists in the Berkshires. Honestly, you will not be disappointed. The restaurant space is also awesome, with its retro diner-esque aesthetic.

Had a delicious burger and tator tots. My friends enjoyed their burgers too. Good beer on tap, always a plus. I will definitely go back. No pictures I was too hungry and forgot about taking them ?

Delicious matzo ball soup & the lamb shank special was very good too. Good service, would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Very good food. Mediocre beer selection, but reasonable variety on tap. Service was good, but not friendly

What a pleasant surprise and experience. We stopped in for dinner. Overall, I felt this was owned, managed by someone that cared. The decor, the service and a unique menu of fresh local food.I can’t put it in words. A must visit for folks who enjoy quality with excellence!!!

When the Lantern was suggested for lunch by a friend, I expected to have to choose between mozzarella sticks, hamburgers (yes they are known for them) or hot wings. Goodness, I was very wrong. Under apparently new ownership, they have a limited but very creative menu that ascribes to the salt fat acid heat mantra with amazing results. I had the fried eggplant sandwich with garlic roasted tomatoes, pickled zukes, feta mayo on a cheese ciabatta. One of the best sandwiches in my life, and I'm old. The waitress was the wonderfully chatty and sassy "Hon" type which made the experience even better. The patrons that day were regulars, women who lunch and o/o towners. What a nice mix. And I'll bet they all left happy. The problem is that I work in Pittsfield and could become addicted to their lunches...

Cute retro spot with friendly service. I randomly chose this place while awaiting for a meeting. The fried shrimp roll had nicely fried (and large) shrimp while the tater tots were crispy. You do need to provide some tartar sauce on the roll as it's a little bland otherwise. The only person working front-of-house was the bartender and server as well. However, she was very friendly and provided some humor.

Amanda /Bree greatest server hostess bartender I’ve met. I did not research well but if you like spicy, this Iowa Italian senior citizen says you will be thrilled. I’m not able to eat spice I was offered multiple different options, but I feel establishments need a break these days, pasta taken off our bill unnecessary so tipping it to waitress!
