WANDER Berkshires

This place feels like queer heaven in Pittsfield. A true community hub for all walks of life, wonderful espresso, amazing staff, a plethora of events from bingo to grief cafes, dances, film screenings, lectures, reading and a great place to get involved and politically active. It was a vital resource to me in my own coming out process as a Non-binary individual and survivor, it's a place to resist the encroaching threat to queer lives and freedoms. Joe the founder is an inspiration as a hospitality professional, photographer and trans activist, and I hope queer and straight folks alike will avail themselves of all the wonderful food, community, and joy this place has to offer. They even have a community darkroom, and the layout and building is very accommodating to those of us with different physical abilities and struggles. I cannot sing it's praises enough.

A gem ! The atmosphere is wonderful- everything you see is lovely- the lighting and decor - what you don’t see is even better. The vibe. The space is large, so it’s easy to find an intimate quiet corner.

The service is amazing. They have some slappin’ good baked goods and the coffee hits the mark (I’m fussy about coffee but they have a terrific dark roast and their lattes are tasty ).

I love them and wish them all the success in the world.

Edit: Thanks for your response. I asked for the cup ounce size options a couple of times and the barista appeared to get frustrated, held up a cup and said “this is what a latte comes in” (?). I also ordered a chai latte and after they set the drink down they said “latte” and I asked “chai latte?” They said yes, but it was just a regular latte. I had already repeated the order multiple times (she asked me multiple times when ordering) and I didn’t want to bother saying the drink was wrong because the entire experience was off putting. This was Sunday around midday. Definitely not the hugest deal, and I understand we all have off days, but for a first experience it was off putting/unwelcoming enough that I won’t be returning. It felt like I was inconveniencing her throughout the whole experience. Thanks again.

Utterly delicious sweet flavorful & foamy London Fog. Not too hot, perfect drinking temp! Amazing atmosphere & service! Buttery crispy soft amazing almond croissant. Hot and flavorful tofu scramble panini!

Would recommend to anyone and everyone in the Berkshires who wants a good vibe coffee spot with plenty of seating, incredible wifi connection and good food options.

The wifi I'll repeat is great. And also, a ton of space and seating for those working solo remotely or in groups.

This will be one of my go to remote working spots

There's decaf options and regular espresso+coffee too

Only knock is that the wheel chair access into the space is tricky. Partially a challenge of the funky entrances.

Incredible coffee/breakfast sandwich spot. I have yet to have a bad drink or bite of food. Everything is well made and you can tell the entire staff including the owner cares deeply about their product and service. On top of that, the actual space is wonderful, very open, yet cozy and relaxing. Would recommend Wander to anyone!

I try to take all of my out of office meetings here. The atmosphere, style, spaciousness, and welcoming vibes cannot be beat. The coffee and especially pastries are good, too.
