Should be 2.5 STARS. Service was ok. Waitress was friendly overall but only when things were going well. We first got chicken nachos. The chicken was barely noticeable. The shreds of cheese on top weren't melted at all and some were still in solid form. When we questioned her about the chicken, she had the nerve to say, "It's in there. You just can't see it." Wish I could've paid the bill that way. "Here's some of the bill money. The rest is in there. You just can't see it." Then she commented on the cheese by saying, "That's how we do chicken nachos here. I can take them back and fix it." Thinking she was going to add chicken then melt the cheese, we agreed to let her take it away and fix it. In her absence, we realized that she never apologized for anything. Never offered to remove it from the bill. When it returned, the cheese on top was melted to the point of toasted, brown spots. Prob 10 seconds from being burned. As if we were being punished with almost burnt cheese for sending it back. Also there was no additional chicken. We decided to not touch the nachos. The steak tips were A+. Wife's chicken was good, too. Waitress was cool when we were ordering drinks but not cool about her food service.

Strictly for the bar pizza for take out! The pizza was take out as stated the laced cheese crust was spectacular and one nice and greasy pepperoni pie! I'll be back myself. Ma got the chicken quesadilla and loved it with no jalepenjo's. I may dine in at some point but for now I love the take out bar pizza!

Pizza making is an art and a labor of love. The folks at Black Raspberry Pub are masters of that craft. They serve New England bar pizza and they are easily my favorite on the south shore. I’ve been here a handful of times and have tried a different pie each time and all of them were absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is off the beaten path in Cordage Park and feels like a hidden gem. There are a lot of thoughtfully crafted pizzas as well as a build your own option. My favorite pizzas so far have been the fig and pig, the arrabbiata, and the fall harvest. The crust always has that perfectly browned crust in the bottom and the caramelized back. All of them do a great job of combining sweet and salty flavors. I’ve also greatly enjoyed their Caesar and Greek salads. Both offer fresh ingredients and are well dressed. They offer a nice reprieve from the inevitable (and worthwhile) grease brought on from the pizzas. The interior of the restaurant has the look of the reclaimed industrial factory that you can expect in Cordage Park. The service is always top notch. Every server I’ve had here is attentive, cheerful, and great at making reservations. Without fail, the folks here deliver a great experience every time. This is a hard thing to achieve in any restaurant, which hopefully means that the owners treat the staff well. Overall, this is where you need to go if you’re looking for bar pizza.Parking: From the entrance, drive along the south side of the building and down the hill to park right in front of the restaurant.

Consistent experience. Food is very good. Pizza, wings, burgers, fish and chips (not cheap at $25 but a large portion and has always been fresh are standouts for pub fare. Short rib, baked haddock excellent. Service typically good. Live entertainment on the weekends is fun and the musicians do a great job (love Box and Box on Friday night’s). Overall, prices are in the high side, but it does seem like more homemade options than other around. Food quality and service are typically very good. Option to make a reservation on Resy is really helpful. If I had a complaint, 2 things. No soup or chowder on the menu (occasionally there be an option for bisque, chowder or chili on the specials, but you can’t count on it), and the air inside (especially in winter is stuffy and too warm. Also noise level in the restaurant is usually high if that is a concern for you.

We came for the South Shore Style pizza. And we loved it. Buy three and get a free cheese pizza. Each pizza is individual in size. A great experience and we will be back. Called ahead for a table for seven. Waiting for us when we arrived. Great service by our waitress Taylor. We only tried the pizzas but they were great. Thin and crispy. The Buffalo Ranch was delicious. Fun lively, atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Located in the back of Cordage park. Well done.
