This would rate five stars if it had parking. Otherwise terrific food with a limited menu. Also the dining area is nice but basic. Lacks the ambiance due to its location but the open kitchen helps. Service was excellent with dutiful knowledge of wines and pairings. I would go there again and again. Thoroughly enjoyed the food as usual; no unpleasant surprises.

Food is very good ambience is cool, especially with the piano player. unfortunately they do not have enough staff to operate.First time we went and there was only one person in the front of the house who also had to tend bar. That was our first time and felt it was out of the norm. We felt bad for the person left to hang out to dry. Where was management to come and help? second time we had a nice dining experience at the bar. third time we went at 530 bar was open but they couldn't seat us because they had staffing issues. Food is good but massive management issues. Plymouth has too many good restaurants to waste time and money on a place with no service. Get it together.

the food and service was impeccable. The restaurant was delightful,a small , quiet spot reminiscent of local neighborhood restaurants in cities around the country. it had old world charm with Frank Sinatra (who else) playing in the background. The kitchen was visible to the dining room which gave it a homey feel. This is a spot that could be a regular for many dates. overall, delicious and quiet.

Wife's Birthday Dinner in Plymouth, started with some Fresh Bread and Olive Oil, we had Caesar Salad for an Appetizer, our Main Dishes were the Wife had: PENNE ALLA SICILIANA and the Husband had: PENNE ALLA BOSCAIOLA, also for Dessert we had a Cannoli to split, sorry no picture of the Dessert, everything was fresh, delicious, and very reasonable price too, we will definitely be going back to eat there again, great little Italian Restaurant in Downtown North Plymouth...small in there but really good!!!!

The food and service are excellent but the ambiance is lacking. So long as you are not making this a celebration dinner you should be very happy with your experience. It is a VERY small dining area (6-8 tables) due to the fact it shares its space with the kitchen which is in full view in the rear. So everything feels a bit tight/cozy. So call ahead and make a reservation if for no other reason than to avoid a long wait outside.

First time visit to the Tuscany Tavern. A very quaint location in North Plymouth. Reservations recommended due to its size. TT has been around for a long time and has been serving tremendous Italian food to the community. Food was delicious and the service was friendly and good. I'll add photos at a later time.

I was having a bad night and this restaurant completely turned everything around for me. Starting with the Hostess who was engaging, funny and very invested in making sure we got a seat. We had a reservation but we arrived 45 minutes early. The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. There is a pleasant chatter in the restaurant from everyone having a nice time, but it is not so loud that you can't hear everyone at your table. The staff is unsurpassed. Our waitress in particular made our night.(Ashley M) She was hilarious and thought we were fun too. (Always a good feeling!) Now for the food... We started with a fresh, delicious Caesar Salad. Followed by incredible Chicken Parm with the most delicious red sauce! We wrapped up our evening with a hugh, delicious piece of chocolate cake and Vanilla Bean Gelato. We WILL be back again and again. I regret that I waited this long to try Strega!

Great restaurant...family has been coming here for years and we like some of the new additions to the menu. One small gripe. The wine list. The loss of Kendall Jackson. Please bring it back! Lol!

Lets start off by saying I went to their web site to see the menu then when we got thee the outside looks dark kinda dirty looking not inviting at all. When you open the door your greeted by a curtian to help keep the wind entering the restaurant. The server greeted us was friendly took our drink order and sent out waitress over, I wished he had stayed nothing friendly about her, She talked very low so I had to ask her to repete what was in the soup. My friend ordered the seafood risotto and she didn't like it because it was drownding in sauce. My other friend got the clams over pasta and he loved his dinner and salad. I had made up my mind before I got there that I wanted the seafood lasagna but the on line menu was years old never change, So, I ended up with the seafoos stew and a chicken dish in a white sauce with walnuts, carrots and potato. I had to lol when I saw the veggies. It was one baby red bliss potato and two shavings of a carrot. For the price of dinner I don't think I got my money's worth, So to wrap this up; between the outside of the building, the on line line menu being years old, the sour puss waitress, and small portions for dinner, I won't be going back, there are too many other and nicer options to choose from. Its too bad because there are not many Italian restaurants around Plymouth. I also read other reviews of this place atmosphere and cramped seating doesn't bother people. Some even called it a gem. I wish I experienced that.

The food here is fantastic. Absolutely no complaints. Tiny restaurant, eight tables, I wouldn't go without a reservation if I were you. This is probably some of the best food in Plymouth. Why not five stars? , because the food is so delicious I want the portions to be just a little bit bigger!!

This is a gem…! Every course was fantastic and the menu was all inclusive! Very European feel and the service was excellent. It’s small, seats about 30 people, and the staff is experienced and f.

Best Italian restaurant in the south shore. It's a small restaurant in Plymouth but the food is absolutely incredible.
