Solid spot for drinks and food. Would recommend.

We were staying at John Carver Inn & Spa so having breakfast at Cj's Bar & Grille was very convenient. There is a hall that leads to/from the restaurant from the lobby. There are a few dining areas, one with booths and tables. We ate at Cj's two mornings and were not disappointed. I had delicious thick slice French toast the first morning, and a Belgian waffle another morning. Both dishes came out hot and were cooked just right. My husband enjoyed Avocado toast with eggs over easy, toast and marinated tomatoes one morning, and the Cj's special with 2 eggs over, 2 pancakes, home fried potatoes, 2 slices of bacon, and 2 slices of sour dough toast another morning. He said that both breakfasts were satisfying and tasty.

Perfect spot for a quick breakfast! No complaints, my husband said the portions are small, but my dish was perfect size. And reasonable prices

We love CJs!! Food is always amazing and the service is even better. Support a locally owned business! You will not be disappointed

My bill was almost $120.00 and the food was all awful frozen pizza frozen chicken frozen fries all very not good for the price of the whole diner was crazy amount for that type of food. I would recommend not to eat here ever. The lights had cobwebs and my dinner folk was a shrimp folk. Good place if you have no tastebuds and you’re slightly blind. Very gross and very expensive for stop and shop food

It was my daughter’s birthday yesterday and we went to CJ’s as we were staying at the hotel next door. Jen was amazing! My little one was having a hard day and she went above and beyond to show her kindness and get her to have a smile on her face. By the end of the meal my little was smiling and giggling. Thank you Jen and all the staff for making our night end with smiles.

My biggest disappointment with this place was the bar, both for the bar itself and for the drinks served as part of our private event. We all thought the food was just fine, and the service was reasonably efficient. But the drinks were appalling - cocktails were just dumped into a pint glass with a freepour, so some were discolored water and others were flammable. No fresh ingredients at all, canned/synthetic juices, and usually way too sweet. Compared against some of the stunning cocktail bars and craft beer bars in Plymouth, this would be last on my list. Most everyone in our party actually just switched to club soda rather than order another drink.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER eat here! If I could give this place negative stars, there would never be enough. We went into an empty restaurant. Waited twenty minutes to even be seated. Then waited 45 minutes for inedible food. The meat was microwaved AND old, the eggs were raw, absolutely atrocious. My family said to the waitress that the food was cold and inedible- she walked away, hid, and ignored us. We then grabbed another waitress and she went to get the cook. Who when we spoke to him, screamed at us to leave. My brother in law tried to explain to him what the issue was and to pay for the drinks we had. The cook shook his head and again screamed at us to “JUST GO” When I told the waitress I had a severe shellfish allergy she said “we don’t have anything in the menu this morning that has that” THE THIRD ITEM ON THE MENU IS CRAB CAKE!!! This place lacks cleanliness as well. They never bussed the table next to us, old nasty milk was all over the floor- pretty sure I saw the milk start to curdle. The plates they served to us had dried up food from the last victim. I feel sick after being there, can we bring back the Hearth and Kettle?

11/29 /2024 we came to this restaurant because it’s attached to the John Carver Inn this past Friday the first night food was great on 11/30 the food and service was horrible they were clearly overwhelmed by a full bar and ran slow ticket times we were told our pick up that night would be ready in 25 mins when we showed up it was already sitting out cold food was prepared in old grease and caused my friend to get sick when we went back on 12/1 the manger at the time was insensitive , rude and overal disconcerting as he did not care that the food was old he even admitted so himself and did not allow for a refund the day and night experience will be shown in the photos below terrible management although waiters were pleasant 11/29/2024- & 11/30/2024

I love coming to CJs! One of the best family owned restaurants out there - we hosted my sisters baby shower brunch there, we love attending trivia nights and craft events! Food is delicious, service is great and prices are very reasonable. I always recommend this place to friends and family! We love it! Thank you Eori family!!
