A family member recently had a wedding rehearsal dinner catered by this company and ordered a taco bar for 40 guests. The food was OK, but there simply wasn’t enough. Most people only got two small tacos, and several didn’t get any at all before the meat ran out.
Since the restaurant was nearby, I called to see if they could bring more food over, but we were told no one was available to help, so we had to order out last minute from somewhere else. When someone finally called me back, he got defensive, blamed the guests for overeating, and refused to consider that the order may have been short. He offered no apology, no solution, and criticized me for even asking about more food or a partial refund.
I tried several times to respectfully find a solution, and he got upset and resorted to calling me names. Completely unprofessional. If you want a caterer who’s reliable and respectful, look elsewhere.

Got a half order of nachos and it was more than enough for the two of us. The tacos are super fresh and this was the best jalapeño margarita I’ve had since moving to Plymouth. Everything is delicious!

Jefes is such a gem! It’s locally owned, and you can tell how much care goes into everything they serve. The food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor—the kind of quality that speaks for itself. The owner is so kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel personal and inviting. The decor is simple, but honestly, that just puts the spotlight where it belongs: on the incredible food. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

Honestly, I don’t understand how this place has so many great reviews. If you’ve ever had authentic Mexican tacos, you’d know this isn’t it. We started with chips and queso, the chips were stale, which was an immediate red flag. Then came the tacos, which were $7 each. For that price, you’d expect a decent-sized, well-filled taco. Instead, they were small and lacked substance. The tortillas were strangely thick, more like arepas than traditional taco shells, which threw off the texture entirely. If you’re looking for a much better taco experience, try El Jefe’s in Boston, now that place is amazing.

Great food. Guacamole was bright and vibrant with the right amount of lime. Tacos were great. Love the handmade tortillas. The meat (birria, carnitas, steak) were all perfect. Highly recommend this place.
Invited my whole family for a meal at jefes. Called in around 4 to make a reservation for 7pm. At 6:30 they called and told me they close at 7 and they can’t seat my family. Awesome.
