First time visitor. Very quiet Sunday dinner for our anniversary. Parking seemed limited as people not from the area. Service was fantastic and the food amazing. We drive about an hour to get to Plymouth to celebrate our anniversary and it would be worth the drive to return.

Cute little Italian spot in Plymouth. My wife and I wanted some place quiet as many of the restaurants, especially down near the Waterfront, are so loud you literally have to scream to hear yourself talk. Toscana's definitely met our criteria even with a keyboard player playing music as part of the ambience I guess. In any event, our waiter who I forgot his name but was very efficient and pleasant, seated us immediately, despite being early for our reservation. He explained how everything is made from scratch and that our food might take a little longer than usual. I told him no worries, if we were in a rush we'd go to McDonald's. We had the calamari appetizer which was excellent. For the main course, I had the Veal Marsala while my wife had the Eggplant Parmigiana, both were outstanding. Our waiter was assisted by Jillian who not only served on us but tended the bar as well. She was very pleasant and we even struck up a little conversation at the end of our meal. We definitely plan on returning in the near future. Highly recommended.

It took a while to get our meals and then the food wasn't amazing but just fine. There was a keyboard player for music, which at times didn't add anything. Servers were friendly. Ambiance was dated.

The food tasted as if it came from a box or frozen. The ambiance was literally out of the Dollar Store. There was one waitress that couldn't keep up with five tables. The live music was overly loud; I couldn't speak in a normal tone of voice to person sitting across from me. I will not go back and encourage others not to waste their money.

Lovely local restaurant! The food was really excellent - I got veal picatta and wife and son both got veal limone - and they were SO good. Service was prompt and friendly It's a small place - and we were only the 2nd table being served with a few people at the bar - so it was very quiet. The piano player was a nice touch to add some noise. We would definitely go back - and hope others will find this little gem.

A hidden gem in Plymouth. I have eaten here several times and never disappoints. Everything on the menu is expertly prepared.

Authentic Boston North-end dining experience in Downtown Plymouth. Fantastic food, drinks very relaxing atmosphere , keyboard entertainment on Weekends with Joe K… Always allow yourself a very relaxed evening to dine,it is small quaint and you will not be rushed.

Toscana is small and quaint, and one of our favorite restaurants to eat at in Plymouth. Even with being short-handed, the relaxing atmosphere makes up for the few delays on waitstaff trying to “give everyone their best service wasn't an issue. I enjoyed the “background” music, and my husband was “thrilled” to keep an eye on the football game on the TV at the bar! Thank you “all”! We know it is difficult finding worker-bees these days!

one waitress too busy and frazzled to seat us which was not a problem but once we seated ourselves, we asked her if we should go elsewhere. She said she is so busy she's making drinks, getting food, etc, and it would be a long while before we will get served. So we said no problem, we may try another time and we left. Not sure what the problem was but no welcome greeting, place was quiet even though there was a guy singing up front. Maybe help got sick and she got stuck by herself? We did see 2 dishes going back into the kitchen, so not sure Maybe we will try another time.

Walked in for reservation Friday night. Resturant was completely empty. 1 waitress/bartender working. Ordered 2 entrees and 2 salads. Within 20 minutes 4 parties sat down. 65 minutes later 3 parties were served dinner and we still hadn't gotten our food. The waitress said 'you ordered an appetizer so yours took longer'. 75 minutes we finally got our food. More like she was in the weeds and couldn't handle 6 tables. Pretty much taking this off the list, too many places to eat in Plymouth.

AMAZING FOOD! The bread and oil was awesome as well to start off! Drinks were fantastic! The waitress was super friendly as well, and she run me the whole show, the bartender and the waitress for the whole place. Will definitely be back very soon!

Most of the time the little whole in the walls have the best food. This place DID NOT disappoint. SUPERB food and service- the bartender is also the waitress- no need to write anything down! The Chef is fabulous. Everything was made fresh and from scratch! Highly recommend

We went on Open Table and there were so many reservations available it was scary so I decided to call. I was told nothing was available. We decided to make reservation on-line and see what happens since we were close by. We reviewed menu on-line and it was listed as a BYOB . We bought a bottle and headed to restaurant. The first thing I noticed was a sign on the door saying “Under New Management” and Full Bar. I took the wine in and showed the ad that listed them as a BYOB. The hostess /owner or chef? said: “ oh , well why don't you just save for another time. “ I felt she should have allowed us to use but said “ Now you know for next time. “ I should have left then or when we sat down and reviewed the menu which was completely different from what we had seen on-line and planned on eating but we picked something out and ordered. Our reservation was at 5:30 about 15 minutes after we sat, we were asked if we had a reservation by the waitress who was running around looking frazzled. We were eventually brought a basket of bread For me, good Italian Bread is almost as important as the meal The rolls were small dinner rolls that tasted like heat and serve rolls so we weren't pleased but at least they were warm . After a 45 minute wait our food arrived. The portions were generous but tasteless. When we finished eating it took another 20-30 minutes to get the check because the waitress refused to make I contact. I finally was able to talk to hostess/ chef/ owner or chef ? Who said she would take care of. The waitress, who was apologizing to everyone all night, brought the check. We noticed we had been overcharged by 1.00 - 1.50 on everything. Another apology and she said she would talk to owner. Owner said prices had to be increased due to COVID-19. We said this would have been acceptable if noted. She refused to budge after another request by waitress. I would think twice before eating here.

This felt like something out of The Twilight Zone! It was a Friday night, prime time and there was only 3 people there and a guy named Joe off in the corner playing an electric keyboard. Joe seemed to be enjoying himself pushing random keys and singing outdated melodies. We texted a couple requests as noted on a sign on the table..,Joe totally ignored our requests and continued to mumble things to himself in between his antiquated selections. The waitress was very pleasant and seemed overjoyed to see people closer to her own age. The food was average at best- pasta was mushy, seafood was good. We probably would not be back because nothing really stood out...it was kinda in a time warp and decor was pretty sad too. I'm not sure why there are so many good reviews- That's what misled us.

Delicious fresh food served by a wonderful food served by Jillian. The food may take a little longer than normal to be served, because each meal is prepared to from scratch, and the servings are works of art. Real Italian food in a cozy quiet place.
