The outdoor seating with a view and the menu were reasons enough to stop for dinner, but the service and the food will definitely bring us back. Wonderful restaurant with dishes that have flavor and a uniqueness hard to find in most places. It reminded us of being back in Greece at one of the small cafes where you sit and enjoy a savory meal and the beautiful scenery.
The vegetable napoleon casserole ($22) was incredible and even the smell of it as it was served made the woman at the table next to ours change her order to the casserole. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the saltimbocca con pasta ripieno ($29). I thought he was going to lick his plate! He asked for a side of the bolognese sauce for his pasta and we both devoured it. Do yourself a favor and eat the bread. Don’t let it be a place where you skip it. You will be happy you indulge!
We will be back when we are in the area and we highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves Mediterranean flavors and a beautiful meal experience. Enjoy! (My apologies for no photos, it all disappeared so quickly!)

Ordered the half chicken and the Brussel sprouts were not cooked and the rice was cold. Drinks were great but food was not that great. Don’t review many places but were surprised at the food not being that good.

Waterfront Dining Experience ~
Plymouth has long been home to local businesses and La baia is a shining example of what happens when dedicated, longtime business owners brings a fresh vision to the waterfront. From the moment you arrive, you're met with an outstanding view, whether you choose to dine outdoors on a beautiful day or step inside to a warm and welcoming ambiance.

The atmosphere is truly inviting, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. La baia isn't just a restaurant ~it's an experience. The menu is exceptional, with a perfect balance of creative cuisine and classic favorites. The daily specials always impress, offering something new and exciting to try each visit. And for pizza lovers, I can't say enough about their cauliflower crust - one of the best gluten free options in town!

Wether you're a local of just visiting historic Plymouth, La baia is a must visit destination. It's more than an meal; it's a place where great food, a breathtaking setting, and a top-tier hospitality come together seamlessly. Highly recommend!
