I was disgusted that this is teh only restaurant that I have ever eaten at that wont five you water. Thety will, however sell at twenty cent bottle of water fro six dollars. By th wt I needed te watre to take a pill. The owner is greedy and out for the money. Dont waste your time to go to a restaurant tha has no regard for the customers well being

I have been eating delicious and healthy breakfasts at “Local Roots” with my kids and family for about three years now, so this is long overdue. There are a lot of breakfast places in the area, but this one gets it!
Set across from East Bay Grill on Plymouth Bay, it has beautiful views of the area and an ocean breeze that’s welcoming. The food?! Their food is DELICIOUS! And there is a healthy menu variety to choose from. And the name says it all - they promote local businesses by getting their food locally, so it’s always fresh!
The owners, Scott and Tina, are very kind and attentive to the needs of this beautiful breakfast place and its patrons, and they are here often working close with the other employees who all seem to enjoy what they do. Check it out- you will not be disappointed!

Exceptional food. Great menu options.
Friendly staff. Outdoor seating
They made a custom omelette to accommodate one of our diners.
Would definitely go back

Great breakfast for us. Chorizo burrito, fried egg plate, nice shaded deck with view of nondescript parking lot and a little bit of harbor.

Food quality and presentation is amazing. Seating outdoors with beautiful shore and street view. Serving and accommodating customers the best way possible. Great experience!!! 👍

My wife and 4.5 year old daughter moved to Plymouth 3 months ago and we have been checking out the local food spots. Local Roots was our favorite so far. The smoothies were delicious and so were the sandwiches. We got a pastrami sandwich and a veggie/grilled chicken wrap and split it amongst the 3 of us and there was plenty for us.

PS There are some negative reviews on Yelp so we almost did not try it but we are glad we did!

Very good place for brunch or quick lunch, food was good but service somewhat slow. I loved the outdoor but on promise seating.

While visiting Plymouth, we were looking for a healthier choice for lunch, and chose this location due to reviews. You order at the counter, they give you a rock with a number and bring you your food. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Lavash Wrap (onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, lettuce, humus and garlic Aioli) $17, and my wife ordered the Local Roots Cobb (grilled chicken, egg wedges, sliced avocado and crisp bacon) $18. The food and service was good, my only complaint was that I didn’t see a lot of chicken in my wrap, to the point that I couldn’t tell if it was actually in there. In addition, my wife said that she thought it was odd that they didn’t have vinaigrette dressing option. I would return if in the area again!

I got the tofu scramble and they didn't put any seasonings on it so it tasted too bland to eat The avocado that came on the side did not look fresh. The coffee was also bland, just tasted like Folgers or something. Spent $20 on shitty food that I didn't end up eating. Also, when I first walked in, I got no greeting. One of the cooks was standing there, eyes glued to her phone. I hope she put on gloves before she cooked my food bc cell phones are covered in all kinds of germs!
