Local Roots : sounds nice and homey Like a comfortable place to have coffee and some comfort food. I thought so too ! But no! Was delighted to order and awaited my wonderful breakfast (as described above ) Didn't happen ! What I got was a rude older muscle man asking me "whatdayawant?" I ordered eggs over easy/ bacon / toast and got a coffee ". That it? Was the reply "Eating in". I stated (named three sisters or something like that ) and I got cold eggs / potatoes and grease Mind you : zero as in NONE politeness Paid / received my order in a to-go box (?!?) Coffee was like warm (like they care ! So i decided to dump it and write a review instead ) Got plastic knife fork spoon and paper napkin Mind you ; the folks sitting next to me ordered "eating in " and got theirs on an actual ceramic plate and coffee is a real ceramic mug with real table setting in metal ! Wonder what that is like ? Not me ! WOW They pick and choose whose money is greener I guess ?!? So many colors of green these daze....‍ (lime / chartreuse / evergreen) ! I didn't dare raise my hand to ask for ceramic / cloth / metal service -.... Too risky ! I'm just something for the dust ! But hey they might charge extra for politeness and I'm on a budget : remember : this was to be a treat ! I even smiled through the rudeness ( bees vs flies idiom at work here ) . So much for the higher road / more like a mudslide. Thanks for playing !

Food was yummy & fast. Little on the expensive side, if your planning on drinking (per usual). For just 3 sandwiches it was $18, the 3 alcoholic drinks totaled $60. I will say the two bloody Mary's came with shrimp, olives, bacon & celery. Would definitely visit again?

When we ordered food the cashier didn’t even crack a smile. She did not greet us, or tell us she was ready for our order - just stared into our souls. Then some rando back told us to wait outside for our food. When the food we asked for it to be “to-go” and it was not “to-go”. When we explained that the waiter scoffed in our direction as if we were inconveniencing his life. In a jist food was pretty good - service was terrible.

Delicious! I was here visiting for a wedding. I got the crabcakes for breakfast and a smoothie for lunch the next day. From the food to the smoothies you seriously cannot go wrong. The crab cakes have so much crab meat in them with little filler. They are fresh and sweet. Highly recommend visiting the town of Plymouth and eating here!

Name was changed to Local Roots. Small place with only outside seating. Not easily handicap accessible. Place is too cramped to get to the bathroom. Eggs benedict was good. Egg sandwich with bacon was drippy and messy. Location is good right on Water Street but only street parking available.

The breakfast sandwich on a bagel had a nice freshly fried egg and bacon, although the cheese seemed to be missing, and bagel was sadly soft and certainly not a NY bagel. It tasted like an out-of-the-plastic bag supermarket bagel. Also, if a restaurant bills itself as a breakfast/brunch venue, they should serve a decent cup of coffee, not the weak, flavorless drink I couldn't bear to finish. My husband did enjoy his egg salad BLT, though, so our experience here was mixed.

Nice place for breakfast! Very close to our hotel and they open early at 7am. I had a Turkey sandwich for breakfast bc it seemed biting to have a taste of Thanksgiving in Plymouth. My kids had standard breakfast food and it was reasonably priced. This pace is counter service and they bring the food to your table. We went on a lovely August morning. I can imagine it isn't great in bad weather.

Great spot for people watching, and this morning they had live music so it was nice to sit and enjoy that while eating. The food was forgettable taste wise, but definitely not price wise. $15 for a bacon/egg/cheese, and can of soda. I had to ask the cashier (who wasn’t the friendliest to begin with) if that was correct twice because I couldn’t t believe it. Their bowls and juices are good and priced as expected, but a sandwich for $10ish could at least include some home fries.

Very nice restaurant, great location near the wharf, parking lot nearby. Nice interiors, upbeat music, bar with sports on the screens, fun atmosphere. Fresh and tasty food, great service, fair prices.

Breakfast paradise early morning before the beach. Lovely staff and not a bit of any fault to be found :) So glad to have discovered and rave about.
