Unbelievably poor experience from start to finish. Staff is very uninterested and uncaring; waited a ridiculously long time for main course to be served. Food quality from a bland and unappealing salad (one that looks like it came from a bag of lettuce) to a hard and unsavory filet mignon. Large portions with no taste.
Bread (which we had to ask for - none was offered) served with some sort of butter and honey - neither had taste
All other restaurants in the area were full; now I understand why Mallebar was not.
Definitely not worth the $$$ .
And the bathroom was filthy!

The food is absolutely unreal, drinks are amazing. Maybe the best burger I’ve had in a long time.

Excellent food every time and sometimes they have a secret sandwich. Last time it was Anthony Bourdain’s favorite sandwich (with House made Mortadella)

The food was exquisite! We basically ordered every appetizer, they were all phenomenal! Why aren't all Caesar salads served with French fries?!?! We also got the chocolate chip cookies to go... the best decision I have ever made! Our server, Brit, was so kind and attentive. The entire experience blew my expectations away! The ambiance was so comfortable!

One of our go-to spots in the area for great food and kind hospitality. Lovely date spot.

Phenomenal and elegant food in an unassuming little plaza. The best food I’ve had in Plymouth hands down.

My husband and I have been twice so far and both visits exceeded expectations. We had a very nice and attentive waitress, I believe her name was Brit! We would recommend the Ribeye (medium-rare), potatoes, Cesar frites and French onion soup. We will be back!

I was really excited to go here based on the menu and reviews, but the food was disappointing. Caesar frites (which I shouldn't have ordered, was heavy on the fries and salad was mostly white/light green parts of romaine). The baguette bread is very white and not French quality, more like a baguette you would get at Stop & Shop. Lamb stew was salty and just okay.

Great experience.

I made a reservation for a Saturday at 5 for early dinner for 3.

When we arrived, we were attended right away. The host offered to take my coat. They have coat check!

We love the atmosphere. Very serene and the music was just right; not too loud and not too low. We were able to have a good conversation.

The service was so so nice. The ladies were very attentive making sure we had what we needed like enough water. Our waiter was very pleasant. She recommend options and made appropriate just right conversation. We also had questions about the restaurant and she was knowledgeable.

And the food!!!! It was exquisite!
We were very impressed. Everything was delicious; cooked right and the meat came as we asked to be cooked.

I found that you can find parking easy by pay parking or street parking.

The area is also beautiful to walk around.

We definitely want to go back again.

The best duck we’ve ever had. Also their dates wrapped in bacon are incredible. Love this place. It’s our favorite restaurant in Plymouth.

I sat at the bar and ordered the French onion soup. As I was looking over the menu, the chocolate decadence caught my eye. The soup came out fresh from the oven, ooey gooey and smelling delicious and tasted so wonderful. I'm a huge chocolate lover, and usually, when you get something called chocolate decadence, it is super sugary. This was NOT that. The fresh fruit on top, the fudge like "cake," the "whopper" flavored ice cream, was the perfect combination to make your tongue scream yay. I was eating solo, and the lovely ladies behind the bar made me feel like a friend. I look forward to dining there again.

Great experience visiting Mallebar for a date night. Food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Truffled Mushroom Ravioli was great as was the Grilled Filet Mignon.
