Had lunch today. Everything was delicious! the Ocho top shelf cocktail was excellent. Chips and salsa were excellent. I ordered the mango quesadilia by accident and it was so delicious. Big shout out to the employee’s. Every one of them were upbeat and enthusiastic. Overall, a great experience.

This place is so cute inside! The food was pretty good and the guac is made right at your table which is unique! I had a veggie quesadilla and it was loaded! The fried ice cream was super yummy for dessert too. Our waitress was super nice and it was my sisters birthday so everyone came over and sang!
Vegetarian options: There aren’t too many vegetarian options but there are a few! They did say that the rice was cooked with meat broth so that does take away a good few options. If you are vegan all you can really eat here is the guac (my mom is vegan and that’s all she could eat)

Ocho Cafe is a great Mexican restaurant with friendly service and reasonable prices. Their unlimited chips and delicious quesadilla are definite highlights. While the steak fajita portion was generous, the steak itself was a bit dry and tough. A fun perk is the Mexican-style birthday celebration they offer!

I do enjoy the food options that I am able to have with my good allergy. But I am leaving a review about one server in particular. On veterans Day 2024 we went in for lunch. We asked for Corey specifically because there was a write-up about him letting the public know that he would be paying for a veterans meal. (I had a veteran with me,) Corey, like promised paid for his meal. His girlfriend had joined him to help him out that day and they had a beautiful table set up to honor the fallen soldiers. That was special. They did an amazing job and he is such a nice young man and honors the military in such a respectful way. Thank you Corey (and Bridgette) for all your hard work and dedication that you show to our military.

I rarely write reviews. However, we get take out from here once every other week but we have also experienced dinning in. This particular take out experience; the entrees were great as usual. But we also ordered guacamole. It was disgusting. Unlike their in restaurant table side guac. Very disappointed to waste $13.00 on something that isn’t consistent.

We really enjoy the food and the friendly people at Ocho Cafe. This time I had the delicious tortilla soup and steak quesadillas -- both excellent! Very friendly greeting at the door, and our server, Julio was very attentive. What we didn't like was the loud music. It takes away from the atmosphere hearing bass-driven, loud pop music while you're trying to eat Mexican food. I'd actually much rather hear Mexican music -- something that would make me feel more like I'm at a place called "Ocho Cafe" instead of "Disco Burger." I don't think they ought to try to pander to stupid Americans. You're a Mexican restaurant! Reflect it with the music! It would complete the experience! And the right people will love it!
