We were hesitant to try Red Tea again . . But so I'm so glad we did!
It was soooo good 😋 . . Just like the way it used to be . . . fresh, delicious and flavorful.

Our favorite Asian restaurant in the area. We've done dine in and takeaway and it has been excellent every time. The quality, amount, and price all beat the Asian restaurants in nearby downtown Plymouth, so it's worth the short drive. We especially love the lunch sets. The maki roll combo and bento boxes are always delicious.

Food was excellent, large portions for the price too. Definitely would return. Good for small or large groups. Menu is diverse, with enough classic staples for picky eaters.

We just love this place. Service is quick - orders are taken timely and everything is brought out promptly. Drinks are cold and well made, and the food is fresh and delicious. My husband lives the Hot and Sour soup!

The first time I went to Red Tea Garden with my son it was so delicious and the staff was great. I have been telling my husband about this place for a year and half and we were finally able to go there tonight.
When we walked in, the host was on the phone and pointed to some booth and said sit there. We looked at a few booths and took the less dirty of the three. The waitress came over and rushed our drink order. It was very uncomfortable.
We ordered the Hunan steak meal to share and eat while we were there and also ordered food to go. Maybe we shouldn't have done it all at the same time because the waitress seemed to get aggitated and was clearly confused. The food came out and 1/2 the to go order was plated for us. No big deal, we'll box it up later we thought. She dropped the food and as she ran off, I asked for sweet and sour sauce and my husband asked for soy sauce. She brought back the sweet and sour sauce but not the soy. Probably because she didn't hear him as she ran off. Mind you it wasn't busy at all.
The Hunan steak was so tough we couldn't cut it with the regular knives that came in the roll up. As I cut one of the pieces, it flung off my plate and rice and the steak ended up all over the table. I wanted to ask for a steak knife, but the waitress wouldn't come to our table. I watched as my husband sawed at the meat and I was embarrassed. I gave up on the fatty tough steak and when she finally did come to our table, I told her how horrible it was. I expected some sort of care about how we felt, but there was as none. The waitress then turned the table over to another waitress who cleared our plates. The whole experience was uncomfortable and weird to say the least and we definitely won't be back.

New to Plymouth. Tried a Chinese take out off Rt. 44 - Not good. We tried Red Tea Garden tonight for take out. Ordered a variety of food. The quality of every dish was spot on. Serving size was as expected, plenty for the price. They have earned my business from now on.
My partner and I ate here for lunch recently, and when I tell you I’ve never experienced such a rude encounter with the wait staff, it was unreal.
To begin with, the waitress did not write down our order. So, needless to say, several things came out wrong. I ordered a Diet Coke, they brought me out a Mai Thai. I ordered three sushi rolls and a steamed chicken and tofu vegetable plate, and one of the rolls never came. The food was very bland, particularly the tofu (it tasted raw). I am not one to normally complain, so I ate my lunch and chalked it up to “huh, I guess I’ll not come back here again.”
And then the check game.
The total was $40. They did not charge us for the additional sushi roll (which I would not have paid for anyways because I never got it!. They run my card and my partner’s card for $20. When we go to sign the check, all five of
the waitresses swarmed our seats, and one of them snatched the credit card receipt out of my partner’s hand. They claimed that they ran the bill wrong, and that the actual bill was $65! LOL. They proceeded to harass us to pay more because the bill was actually $65. I politely refused because she already ran my card and the itemized bill was correct. She then gaslighted me by saying “I guess you just want a free lunch then,” to which I politely said “if you ran the bill wrong, that’s a you problem, not a me problem.”
We left and will NEVER go here again. It was probably the worst Chinese/sushi fusion experience of my life!!!!
