Service is lacking. Called in and ordered food. Told to pick up in 30 minutes. Upon arriving we paid the bill and was told order not yet ready. After 5 minutes was told that the 2 burgers that were just paid for were not available as they were out of hamburger meat. Why not tell folks when order is placed that it was not available? Why not tell folks prior to paying that what was ordered was not available?

The food was good but not what was wanted.

Hopped down for a late lunch after a walk @ White Horse Beach. Kelly got a Grilled Salmon Sandwich and I did a Whole Belly Clam Roll. Yum!

We ordered a side of Truffle Fries. They were great but overkill on top of the fries that came with our lunch.

Loved the vibe and the help of it our server. Brought home the Tomato Salad and Shrimp Pasta Salad. It was great the next day.

Can't believe it took so long to try RB. Won't wait so long the next time.

This review is for the fish market. Went in to buy a pound of lobster meat, which I would have expected to include a few tails as it was over $60 per pound. I asked the girl behind the counter, before ordering, roughly how many tails are included when you buy a pound and she looked at me with a confused look on her face and didn't really have an answer. Got the pound of lobster and not a tail in there. All claw and knuckle meat, which was good, but seriously, I'm paying the highest amount you charge for lobster and no tail meat. That's a disgrace and I'll certainly not be returning to or recommending "Rock Bottom"...

Kind of pricey, I found places other docks in Plymouth that were less money and my total included a beer

Had seen this spot a couple of times, so decided to give it a try...and glad we did. I had the chowder and fish tacos, and they were both terrific. The chowder was thick and flavorful. The fish tacos were nice little bites, very well dressed.

I am understanding of problems in the kitchen, or mishandled orders. But when you've waited 30 minutes for an order that you were told to expect in 20, it's time to update the customer. At 45 minutes, and first (when asked) you tell the customer "Oh, the salmon takes longer to cook," then you blame it on a problem with the stove, it's time to be making amends. Then, when the main dishes are ready but you forgot about the appetizer, don't make up any more stories - my request for my tip back and to cancel/refund the appetizer was fair. Then the appetizer came out, and suggestion for some consideration for the terrible service was met with a blank stare.

The food was ok. And the girl was young. My suggestion is simply this: train your staff to communicate to the customer when a problem arises, and maybe just offer a free dessert or something when the expected wait time is more than double.

The place is nice, since new ownership came in it looks brand new.. fried fish , scallops, and clams are as good as any fried seafood joint in New England. Fair prices and open year round. I order here regularly never been disappointed.

This is a fresh seafood market with a live lobster tank and about 5 small tables if you want to eat there. Mainly delivery/ market I think. We ate there anyway. I had a 1/4lb lobster roll with fries and my mother had fried scallops and a salad. Both were very good and obviously fresh. I'd go back to get a couple lobsters or some fresh fish to go, but otherwise I'd just get it delivered.

I have been in the restaurant world 40 years owning numerous. I have loved fish n chips forever but could not find anyone who did it right until I found this gem by accident. The first time I was shocked by the amount of fresh cod perfectly fried and the fries and slaw was awesome. I wondered if they were consistent so I went back two weeks later. YES! OMG. Same amount of fish etc and perfect. So I went for lunch and got the fish sandwich.... YES. (so much cod). I went last week to try fresh cooked shrimp.... YES! So, consistency is spot on. Quantity spot on, quantity spot on. All I can say is go...today. To the owner: DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. Jay Johnson

Fish sandwich was good but pretty pricey for a lunch item with fries . I also got a piece of cake that looked good but tasted more like it had been in the fridge for 3 weeks, like just not very fresh at all. Otherwise I think the food stays pretty consistent there over the 25+ years I've been going there when I can. The seafood is always fresh and I enjoyed the sandwich very much! Definitely a go-to for a family fish fry or seafood platter.
