We went here tonight for my wife's birthday. We were a party of 8 who made reservations. I had to move my reservation up to 8:30 from 8PM. The restaurant was complete accomodating to us with this request. The food was good and brought without any issues what so ever. The waitress and hostess were both very friendly as well. We even brought in a birthday cake which they brought out to us while joining us in singing happy birthday. I would recommend this place.

Went for lunch with a friend and had a lovely waitress. Very attentive and anticipatory of our needs. Food was good. I had the chicken chimichanga and it was so big, I could not even come close to finishing it. Disappointing that inside the restaurant hasn't changed in appearance in over 15 years. Looks and smells a bit stale and outdated.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for foods that aren't just salads.Kid-friendliness: Kitschy and good spot to stop for lunch or dinner. Large portions to share and have kid friendly appetizers and entrées.Parking: Hope you like walking and parallel parking.

I love coming here, the place has a great atmosphere and tons of seating. I always get the enchilada plate, all three types are great, the chicken is my favorite. I'd also recommend you get a Bay Breeze, wicked sweet but so good.

Was terrible, Corn wraps are NOT Gluten free, was served something that tasted like cardboard that was terrible. margaritas are too much sour mix and drinks very weak.fajitas were cold and not good. The nachos came out bland and burnt, pulled pork was just dry and tough to eat. the cheese was burnt off. would not recommend this place for GF issues or in general far better places in the area

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sam Diego's! The food was excellent, the drinks were to die for, and the atmosphere and service were also fantastic. I only wish we had a location closer to home! What a treat this was - perfect date night spot!Parking: Street or town parking only.

Great place if you love warmed up frozen burritos and Tostitos salsa and queso. Does the job, but the steep prices don’t match the quality (or lack thereof) of ingredients. Only plus is that the service is quick and it’s a fairly quiet environment

Oct 1,2022. Quickly greeted and seated by hostess and then waiter. Drink orders taken and brought along with good tortilla chips. The salsa was thick but had minimal flavor, mostly a tomato sauce. Food order taken and brought to table in a reasonable time. My wife had something that was dry and hard on her guac, unsure what-where we were seated it was fairly dark. The rice was like something out of a can or from an unproven on-line recipe. The enchiladas were decent but over-spiced. Flour quesadilla was soggy, not crisp, and with very little chicken. Mine was supposed to come with beans, but never found them. Maybe they were covered by or blended into the heaping portion of rice. Regardless of your comments, we are Texans and use to outstanding Tex-mex. It’s a nice place but would not survive against real Tex-mex competition. And yes I’ve had authentic, true Mexican food in Mexico, and this isn’t it either.

Mexican cookery? The one star I'm giving is because our server, an adorable Young gal, was awesome. However the food was bad. Tasteless. The salsa tasted like they dumped a can of tomato sauce in a bowl. We had to pay for pico de gallo and ask for hot sauce to mix in with the tomato sauce so that it was palatable, or even minimally close to Mexican salsa. however the fries were good, and yes I know it's odd to be offered french fries at a Mexican restaurant, but if that's all you order you'll be happy.

I LOVE this place because they have a separate vegan menu and although I wish they would expand said menu with more vegan offerings, I am so appreciative this place exists in downtown Plymouth. The atmosphere is very fun and the service is always fast + friendly. Had the best pomegranate margarita of my life at Sam Diego’s a few weeks ago. The outdoor dining patio is gorgeous with tropical plants and water features. GREAT place to have lunch or dinner!

We were a party of 7, my sister was the third person to order, they forgot hers. Took at least ten minutes for the waiter to come get our drink order. I got chicken enchiladas, they were gross, said it came with refried beans, they were gross black beans. I have never been here before, read the review, was willing to give it a chance, would not recommend.

I know you've heard of a taco bowl, but have you ever had a taco pool?? Well, you will if you order the carne asada tacos. I've had street tacos all over the world.. but never have I had a plate come out with wet tacos. The pico was soaking wet. I picked up the third taco and held it at a 45 for about 12 seconds. In that time the amount of water that came out of the taco was a laughable insult. The plate was filled with water and the flour tortilla, WRONG choice, were soaking wet. Sure, I could have gone on a tangent and demanded dry tacos, but I was hungry and well at the end of the day I do love a wet taco. (Winky face) The habanero chicken wings were double over cooked..but had zero flavor. Lackluster is a great way to describe them. I expected a bold spicy flavor. Instead I got flavor less flats and some drums I almost threw at some seagulls walking by. The salsa was good. The chips were good.. We had the sweetest waitress. Very very nice. Super kind and polite. She got a good tip for her efforts. Would I recommend going here, No bueno!

Definitely a festive, colorful and eye-catching establishment on the main drag through Plymouth Massachusetts, this “ One block from the Rock” eatery has plenty of room to pack them in. Outdoor, bar, multileveled first floor and the second floor seating areas were beautifully decorated in what used to be the historic fire station in Plymouth— had this history buff at hello. The staff were plentiful, friendly and efficient. For the most part, the food was just OK. A notable exception to this statement would be the free chips that arrived at our table with a side of salsa just after we were seated. Warm, perfectly salted and Thinly fried, these babies almost ruined our appetites as we just simply could not stop eating them. The guacamole was attractively presented in a taco shell, however it didn’t have enough cilantro or onion making it somewhat bland to these taste buds. Our main entrées were decent, it’s just that we know and love authentic Mexican food, so this has to be taken into account when we say that the food was just OK. The rice was seasoned very little, with a tomato? base. The black beans were not very tasty. My fried shrimp tacos with mango salsa and a cabbage slaw were heavy on the slaw, marginal on flavor. My sons enchiladas were big, and chicken and cheese tasty. My daughter had the combo plate of cheese and beef quesadilla with the beef and cheese taco which in all honesty were very good however neither were prepared as she had requested. Lots and lots of food. The non-alcoholic beverage my daughter ordered was delicious. Prices were on the higher side for Mexican food although commiserate for a summer seaside town.

The food and drinks were excellent. And the waitress was very helpful since we were there with 2 small children.
