Great establishment right on the beach, highly recommend
Great food , service & atmosphere !
The worst food ever, got the chicken over rice, couldn't even eat it, it was so tastless, looked like the chicken was boiled, won't go back!
The batter was dark which means it's old, Cole slaw tasted bad, too many dogs and one was eating off the table.
Great location. Terrible execituon.
Literally threw up from food being so greasy ?

Mid-September lunch at Sandy's before we hoofed it across Long Beach. Friendly and helpful staff served up light and tender whole clams, crispy onion rings and sweet and crispy coconut shrimp. The best way to enjoy a nice, beachy kind of afternoon without the summer crowds. Bring cash. That's the only catch.

Very good food, I got fish and chips were delicious but other dishes like seafood combo and chicken tenders were also very good. Definitely recommended if you want a restaurant with good food and a beautiful view of the ocean. The only bad thing is that the food is pretty expensive.

The food is OK. Fried Calamari were hard to chew. Soups clam chowder and lobster bisque was very good. The place takes only cash.

Only have the Service four stars because, let's be real, this is a beach side, cash only, hang out. The Staff was pleasant and the vibe was laid back so 4 stars here is 5 stars at a white table cloth joint.
Outdoor seating under a covered seating area with a JBL Bluetooth speaker on a pole inside for an audio system. That paired with the crushed ice sounds coming from the outside bar and the breeze blowing through was PERFECT.
We had lobster rolls, grilled swordfish, fish & chips, and a grilled cheese for the 11yr old. Fries and slaw all around and a generous "small" cup of soft serve for the young one.
No lie, we were skeptical when we rolled in after visiting the Plimoth Patuxet museums, truly, but it was a great pick!
Don't judge the book by the cover here. If you like a simple setting with good food at a beach shack by a public beach then come here.
We didn't have any booze during our visit but it would be easy to lose a lot of time listening to the music, enjoying the breezes, and getting boozy here. Beach view dive bar classic. ??

Sandy’s is a lively beach bar/restaurant. The employees were all pleasant and efficient. They have a lot of fairly priced food and drink options. The atmosphere was fun and they had live acoustic music one night. We would definitely come back here if we are in the area.
