Have been to Shikku a couple times now and it’s been great both times. Had never done hot pot but was very interested to try it out. The staff was super helpful with all the instructions and very knowledgeable when we had questions about some of the ingredients. The food is very fresh and so delicious. We did hot pot both times but ordered the fried rice the second time as we were a big group and we all had a taste. That being said, if you don’t think hot pot will fill you...
Shikku is one of the best and most unique restaurants to come to Plymouth in quite some time. Food and atmosphere are absolutely excellent.
Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and adventurous eating experience. And don't be intimidated if you've never had hot pot before, as I hadn't. The staff are incredibly helpful with explaining everything.
